Credible Heritage Resort Varkala: Our Honest Stay Review<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During our Kerala and Tamil Nadu Trip<\/strong>, our first night’s stay in Varkala was booked at Credible Heritage Resort<\/strong>. This isn’t a huge luxury resort. Instead, it’s a small and peaceful property with around 15\u201316 rooms<\/strong>, which actually gives it a cosy feel. At the time of our stay, the resort had around 8 Deluxe Rooms<\/strong>, 4 Duplex Rooms<\/strong>, and a Suite Room<\/strong> under construction near the swimming pool. A few more rooms were also being built, and work on the restaurant was in progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Duplex Room<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since we were travelling as a family of four, we were allotted a Duplex Room<\/strong>. The room has an attic section for kids, with one double bed and two single beds<\/strong>, making it quite spacious for our family. We never felt cramped during our stay. The washroom was clean and had all the basic amenities, including a dental kit. Overall, we liked the room. The interiors had a Kerala-style design with plenty of woodwork, giving it a warm and pleasant feel. We also had a look at the Deluxe Rooms, and they also appeared spacious enough for two adults and even comfortable for three people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Like most hotels in Varkala, this resort is located inside a small lane rather than on the main road. In fact, we noticed that only a handful of hotels are directly on the main road, while most properties are located inside narrow lanes. The distance from North Cliff<\/strong> is around 1.5 kilometres by road<\/strong> and approximately 1 kilometre on foot<\/strong>. If you’re travelling as a couple and don’t mind walking, it’s an easy walk to North Cliff, especially if you’re planning to enjoy the evening or watch the sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Facilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The resort has a swimming pool<\/strong>, which is a nice addition. During our visit, the restaurant was still under construction, so there wasn’t any in-house dining facility available. However, the staff informed us that the restaurant was expected to become operational soon. Staff and Cleanliness. The rooms were clean, and the staff was polite, helpful and approachable. Whenever we needed any information, they guided us properly and were always willing to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Rating<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Overall, we had a comfortable stay at Credible Heritage Resort. Considering the room quality, cleanliness, staff behaviour and its distance from North Cliff, I would personally rate this resort 8 out of 10<\/strong>. If you’re looking for a clean and comfortable stay in Varkala rather than a large luxury resort, this is definitely a property worth considering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
