2 N Manali - 2 N Shimla

Your adventurous trip commences as you proceed to Manali from Chandigarh as planned by this Spiti tour package. A smooth cab ride takes you to the wonderful valley of Kullu and Manali, with a visual treat of superb scenery. On arrival in Manali, complete check-in formalities at the hotel and relax. Journey time 7-8 hrs .

Today we will be covering Manali local sight seen afterpickup from manali volvo bus stand which covers major attraction Hadimba Devi Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Handicraft centre, Old Vashisht village, sage Vashishta Temple which is famous for its natural hot water springs , club House, Manu temple , Van Vihar and so much enjoy . Later after noon drop at Mall road road to spend and enjoy Market visit .Later drop to Hotel , dinner and overnight stay.

Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Shimla. It is approximatley 250 KM road journey through the scenic mountains. On the way, we will visit Kullu. kullu sight seen includes Local Market, Pashmina & local kullu shawl factory. After the Kullu Sightseeings Drive to Shimla. Overnight stay at hotel.

Proceed for a full day of sightseeing covering Shimla city and Kufri, one of the region’s most popular hill attractions.

Sightseeing in Shimla:

• Jakhoo Temple – Ancient hilltop temple of Lord Hanuman; last 500–700 meters must be covered on foot or via local shared jeeps as tourist vehicles cannot reach the top.
• The Ridge – Shimla’s most iconic open space; completely no-vehicle zone and accessible only by walking.
• Mall Road – Famous shopping street with cafés and restaurants; tourist vehicles are strictly prohibited, walking required.
• Christ Church – Neo-Gothic landmark situated on The Ridge; accessible only on foot.
• Scandal Point – Popular viewpoint connecting The Ridge & Mall Road; walking access only.
• Lakkar Bazaar – Market area known for wooden handicrafts; vehicles are not allowed beyond a point, walking needed.
• Kali Bari Temple – Accessible by car close to the approach road, followed by a short walk to the temple.
• Kufri Viewpoint – Famous for Himalayan snow-capped range views; vehicles are not permitted until the top, and you must take local jeeps or walk depending on conditions.
• Kufri Fun World – Amusement and adventure park offering go-karting (seasonal), rides, and activities.
• Indira Tourist Park – Relaxing spot adjacent to the Himalayan zoo area.
• Himalayan Nature Park – Home to Himalayan fauna including snow leopards, wolves, and monals (entry ticket required).

 

🚐 Important Vehicle Instructions (Shimla & Kufri):

Tourist vehicles cannot enter Mall Road, The Ridge, or Scandal Point. Walking is mandatory. Expect considerable walking throughout the day due to administrative vehicle restrictions in Shimla & Kufri. The Lift (paid) near Mall Road can be used to avoid steep uphill walking.

 

Note: Any sightseeing will be visited only once during the entire travel even if it is mentioned multiple times in the itinerary. In addition, no alternative sights or compensation will be arranged for the same.

After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, complete any remaining sightseeing in Shimla. Ensure you have checked out of your hotel before departing.

 

Depart from Shimla for Chandigarh. The distance is approximately 110 km, and the drive will take around 3.5 to 4 hours.

 

En route, consider a brief stop at:

• Kasauli – A quaint cantonment town offering panoramic views and colonial charm (optional, depending on time).

 

Upon arrival in Chandigarh, proceed directly to the Chandigarh International Airport (IXC)/Railway Staion for your onward flight. Please allow sufficient time for check-in and security procedures.
