Begin your day with a prompt pick-up from your Chandigarh location. Ensure you have completed any last-minute sightseeing in Chandigarh before commencing your journey. The drive to Manali is approximately 310 km and will take around 8-9 hours, including stops.

Please note that Rohtang Pass is subject to weather conditions and may be closed during certain times of the year. If Rohtang Pass is inaccessible, the itinerary will proceed directly to Sissu via the Atal Tunnel.

Only Union vehicles are allowed For Rohtang Pass, which has to be hired directly from Manali Bus stand.

En route to Rohtang Pass (if accessible):

• Gulaba: A scenic spot offering panoramic views and opportunities for snow activities (seasonal).
• Marhi: A popular stopover point with local food stalls and stunning mountain vistas.

• The Ridge – Shimla’s most iconic open space; completely no-vehicle zone and accessible only by walking.
• Mall Road – Famous shopping street with cafés and restaurants; tourist vehicles are strictly prohibited, walking required.
• Christ Church – Neo-Gothic landmark situated on The Ridge; accessible only on foot.
• Scandal Point – Popular viewpoint connecting The Ridge & Mall Road; walking access only.
• Lakkar Bazaar – Market area known for wooden handicrafts; vehicles are not allowed beyond a point, walking needed.
• Kali Bari Temple – Accessible by car close to the approach road, followed by a short walk to the temple.
• Kufri Viewpoint – Famous for Himalayan snow-capped range views; vehicles are not permitted until the top, and you must take local jeeps or walk depending on conditions.

🚐 Important Vehicle Instructions (Shimla & Kufri):

Tourist vehicles cannot enter Mall Road, The Ridge, or Scandal Point. Walking is mandatory. Expect considerable walking throughout the day due to administrative vehicle restrictions in Shimla & Kufri. The Lift (paid) near Mall Road can be used to avoid steep uphill walking.

Note: Any sightseeing will be visited only once during the entire travel even if it is mentioned multiple times in the itinerary. In addition, no alternative sights or compensation will be arranged for the same.
