Morning Exploration: Tegalalang Rice Terraces

Begin your day with an early start from your Kuta hotel. The journey to the Tegalalang Rice Terraces is approximately 40 km and will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Prepare to be mesmerized by the iconic emerald-green, cascading rice paddies that define Bali's agricultural landscape. Take your time to wander through the terraces, capture breathtaking photographs, and perhaps enjoy a refreshing coconut water from a local vendor.

Midday Refreshment: Tegenungan Waterfall

After soaking in the beauty of Tegalalang, continue your journey to Tegenungan Waterfall. This scenic spot is about 10 km further, a short 20-minute drive. Tegenungan Waterfall is a powerful cascade surrounded by lush jungle. You can descend the steps to get closer to the falls, feel the refreshing spray, and even take a dip in the cool waters if you wish. Remember to wear comfortable shoes for the descent.
