Jammu → Katra

Pick up from Jammu – Transfer to Katra (45 km / approx. 1.5 hrs)

Our vehicle will pick you up from Jammu Tawi Railway Station or Airport. Begin your scenic journey to Katra, nestled at the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains.

 

On arrival in Katra, check in to your hotel and relax for a few hours. Later in the day, depending on your preference, you may begin the climb to the sacred Vaishno Devi Temple or explore the local Katra market known for religious souvenirs and street food.

Katra → Katra

Vaishno Devi Darshan

Early in the morning, begin your journey towards the sacred shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India. The shrine is located approximately 13 km from Katra, and devotees can reach the temple by foot, pony, or helicopter service up to Sanjichhat.

 

En route, you may also visit:

  • Ban Ganga – the sacred stream where devotees take a purifying dip before starting the trek
  • Ardhkuwari Temple – a significant stop where Mata Vaishno Devi is believed to have meditated for nine months

 

Seek blessings at the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi, along with the sacred temples of Mata Mahakali, Mata Mahalakshmi, and Mata Saraswati.

 

After darshan, return to Katra the same evening.

Katra → Amritsar

Head to Amritsar after Mata Rani's Darshans

After the breakfast, we would head to Amritsar. Hope your Darshan at Mata Rani Darbar was worth. We will travel to Amritsar to Visit Golden Temple and other important sights of Amritsar. Amritsar is approximately 250 Kms from Katra, and it would take 6 hours to reach Amritsar. On arrival checkin to the hotel and relax for the day.

Amritsar to Local sight and Wagah Border

On Arrival at Amritsar visit the Golden Temple and later visit the massacre of Jalian Wallan Bagh, Lawrence street , Amritsar Market . Afternoon little free time to rest and evening around 3 PM drive to Wagah Border to see the Closing Ceremony, event starts exactly by 5.30 PM everyday. Border closing 'lowering of the flags' ceremony is a daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan.This ceremony takes place every evening before sunset at the Wagah border, which as part of the Grand Trunk Road was the only road link between these two countries before the opening of the Aman Setu in Kashmir in 1999. The ceremony starts with a blustering parade by the soldiers from both the sides and ends up in the perfectly coordinated lowering of the two nations flags, it is called the beating retreat border ceremony on the international level. One infantryman (Jawan) stands at attention on each side of the gate. As the sun sets, the iron gate at the border is opened and the flags are lowered. The flags are folded and the ceremony ends with a retreat that involves a brusque handshake between soldiers from either side. Return back to Hotel .dinner & overnight stay .

Amritsar → Delhi

Fly Down to Delhi from Amritsar and Enjoy Delhi Sightseeings

Based on the flight timings, enjoy the remaining sights at Amritsar and later vehicle shall drop you to Amritsar Airport. Fly to Delhi. Reach Delhi and reach to hotel. Check into the hotel and relax a bit. Later we will head to enjoy Delhi Sightseeings.

Local Delhi Sightseeing with Shopping

Visit the sights that we were not able to visit previous day. Later in the day, enjoy the Shopping Spree in Delhi. Gigantic Market offers gigantic discounts and stupendous experience of shopping at Sarojini Nagar, Lajpat Nagar, Sadar, and Chandni Chawk is unmissable. However we can cover only one of them. :-), as the markets are big and time is limited.

Delhi → Agra

Head to Agra via Mathura Vrindavan

Head to Vrindavan after either pick up from airport or check out from hotel. In Vrindavan visit Prem Mandir, Banke Bihari, Temple, & Nidhi van. Later head to Mathura to Pay your heeds at Krishna Janmbhoomi, Vishram Ghat, Shree Dwarikadhish Temple and ISKCON temple. Later we will head to Aga from Mathura

Agra Sightseeing and fly back with refreshing memories

In the morning visit Tajmahal, the grandest spectacular memorial of love. It would take you around 3-4 hours to visit the memorial and click the pictures. Later in the day, head to Red Fort which depicts the grand history of Mughal empire. It would again require, almost 3-4 hours to visit the entire monument. Our driver shall drop you at the Agra Railway Station or Airport based on your flight/train (Max till 7PM).
