Neil Island Sightseeing and Travel to Port Blair
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Neil Island. Before departing, ensure that any remaining sightseeing in Neil Island is completed, as no sights will be revisited. Leave your luggage at the hotel reception and proceed for sightseeing.
After sightseeing, proceed to the jetty to board your cruise to Port Blair. The ferry journey from Neil Island to Port Blair typically takes 75 to 105 minutes, depending on the cruise type. (Indicative Cruise Timings: 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 3:30 PM, 4:00 PM) Note: Cruise timings are subject to frequent changes.
On arrival in Port Blair, transfer to your hotel. Relax and enjoy your evening at leisure.
Note: Any sightseeing will be visited only once during the entire travel even if it is mentioned multiple times in the itinerary. In addition, no alternative sights or compensation will be arranged for the same.

Visit to Lime Stove Caves i.e. Baratang Excursion
Start early from Port Blair for a full-day excursion to Baratang Island, known for its mangrove forests, limestone caves, and proximity to the ancient Jarawa tribal reserve.
Important Travel Information:
- Departure is required as early as 6:00 AM to reach the Baratang Check Post (Barrier).
- The barrier opens at 7:30 AM for the controlled convoy movement.
- The route passes through a restricted forest zone, home to the Jarawa tribe, considered one of the oldest tribal communities in the Andaman Islands.
- For safety reasons, vehicles move only in convoys and are not permitted to stop in the tribal reserve area.
- Photography or interaction with tribals is strictly prohibited.
- Carry sufficient water and light snacks due to limited options en route.
Upon reaching Baratang Island, you will proceed for sightseeing.
Sightseeing in Baratang:
- Limestone Caves
- Board a shared speed boat to reach the cave area.
- Enjoy a scenic journey through dense mangrove tunnels.
- From the drop point, walk to the million-year-old limestone caves.
- The boat sailor usually acts as a local guide, explaining cave formations.
- Mud Volcano (Optional, if time permits): On an additional cost. A natural geological formation where cold mud bubbles due to underground gases.
- Mangrove Boat Ride: A beautiful cruise through unspoiled mangrove forests leading to the limestone cave trail.
After completing your sightseeing, return to Baratang jetty and join the return convoy to Port Blair by evening.
