Pick up from Srinagar Airport and Visit to Dal Lake

Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative. After a smooth pick-up, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Srinagar. The rest of your day is dedicated to experiencing the serene beauty of Dal Lake.

 

After settling in, embark on a delightful Shikara ride on Dal Lake:

  • Dal Lake: Known as the 'Jewel in the crown of Kashmir', Dal Lake offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and vibrant houseboats. Enjoy a peaceful ride on a traditional Shikara, gliding through the calm waters.
  • Floating Gardens: Witness the unique floating gardens (locally known as 'Rad') where vegetables and flowers are cultivated on artificial islands.

Travel to Sonamarg from Srinagar

Sonamarg → Kargil

Sonamarg to Kargil

You can cover the remaining sightseeing if left from previous day. Later head to Kargil. While travelling to Kargil, we would cross Zozilla Pass zero point , zojila war memorial . After crossing the pass rest a bit at Drass Village which is highest inhabited place in asia. Later, we would enjoy the drass war memorial which is a memorial of martyrs of Kargil war. Finally we would reach to Kargil hotel for relaxation.

Kargil → Gulmarg

Kargil to Gulmarg via Srinagar - Enroute Drass, Sonamarg & Zojila Pass

Begin your day early in Kargil as you set out towards Gulmarg. The initial leg of your journey will take you from Kargil to Srinagar, a total distance of approximately 195 km, which can take around 6 to 7.5 hours of driving time, not including stops for sightseeing.

 

En route from Kargil to Srinagar, you will visit the following attractions:

  • Drass: Often referred to as 'The Gateway to Ladakh,' Drass is the second coldest inhabited place in the world. Here, you'll visit the poignant Drass War Memorial, commemorating the heroes of the Kargil War and offering views of Tiger Hill.
  • Zojila Pass: Ascend to the formidable Zojila Pass, situated at an altitude of approximately 11,575 feet (3,528 meters). This strategic mountain pass connects Ladakh and Kashmir, offering stunning, rugged vistas and a sense of awe at the engineering marvel of the road.
  • Sonamarg: Descend into the picturesque 'Meadow of Gold,' Sonamarg. Nestled in a valley with the mighty Thajiwas Glacier in the backdrop, Sonamarg is a hub for adventure and natural beauty. Take a moment to soak in the views of the Sindh River and surrounding peaks.

Post Breakfast Today we will cover with union vehicle local places of gulmarg buta Pathri and Dhrung waterfall ,both are scenic location later we will drop you back at Gulmarg hotel by evening . Check in the hotel dinner & overnight stay at Hotel .

Gulmarg → Pahalgam

Head to Pahalgam from Gulmarg & Later Enjoy Pahalgam Sightseeing

Your day begins in the picturesque hill station of Gulmarg. After a leisurely breakfast, it's time to check out from your hotel. Ensure you have completed any remaining desired sightseeing in Gulmarg before embarking on your journey.

Today, you will travel from Gulmarg to Pahalgam. This scenic drive covers approximately 140 km and is expected to take around 4 to 5 hours, depending on road conditions and stops.

Local Taxi Union Rule:
Taxi vehicles from Srinagar cannot go beyond Pahalgam main parking. For visiting Betaab Valley, , Aru Valley, Chandanwari travellers must hire a local Pahalgam union cab available near the taxi stand. Rates are fixed and can be checked at the bill board.

Pahalgam Sightseeing and Return to Srinagar Houseboat

In Pahalgam, visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows. (At your own cost). After sightseeing around the mountain valley for most of the day, we will drive back to Srinagar and transfer to the hotel/ houseboat for overnight stay.

Today marks your departure from the enchanting city of Srinagar. After a memorable stay, it's time to head back home.

 

Enjoy a final Kashmiri breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you might have a little time for some last-minute souvenir shopping in the local markets, perhaps picking up some exquisite Pashmina shawls or saffron.

 

Check out from your hotel and proceed to Srinagar International Airport (SXR)/Railway Station for your onward journey. Allow ample time for check-in and security procedures.
