Embark on an exhilarating full-day journey from Port Blair to the northern reaches of Diglipur, venturing through the unique landscapes of the Andaman Islands. Begin your day with an early start from Port Blair, completing your hotel checkout. It's advisable to finish any last-minute sightseeing in Port Blair before commencing this long but rewarding travel day.

 

Your adventure first takes you from Port Blair to Baratang Island. This leg of the journey covers approximately 105 km and typically takes around 3.5 to 4 hours, including the necessary ferry crossing and convoy through the protected Jarawa Tribal Reserve. Please note the convoy timings are fixed and must be adhered to.

 

En route, experience the natural wonders of Baratang:

• Limestone Caves: A fascinating geological formation reached by a thrilling boat ride through mangrove creeks, followed by a short trek through the jungle.
• Mud Volcano: Witness this small, natural phenomenon where semi-liquid mud and natural gases are emitted from the earth.

 

After exploring Baratang and perhaps grabbing a local lunch, you will continue your journey towards Diglipur. The second leg, from Baratang to Diglipur, spans approximately 90 km and requires another 3 to 3.5 hours of scenic driving.

 

Upon your evening arrival in Diglipur, check into your chosen accommodation. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax after the extensive travel.

 

Once settled in Diglipur, consider these light activities for your arrival evening:

Head from Rangat / Baratang to Port Blair

Your exciting day begins in Port Blair as you prepare for a journey to the idyllic Havelock Island. Head to the jetty for your ferry departure. The picturesque ferry ride from Port Blair to Havelock Island typically covers a distance of approximately 57 km and takes around 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the type of ferry and sea conditions. Enjoy the expansive views of the Andaman Sea as you cruise towards your destination.

 

Upon arrival at Havelock Island's jetty, you'll be transferred to your pre-booked accommodation. After checking in and settling down, it's time to explore the island's most famous gem.

 

Your afternoon on Havelock Island will feature:

• Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7): Renowned as one of Asia's best beaches, Radhanagar captivates with its pristine white sands, turquoise waters, and lush green forest backdrop. Spend your time swimming, sunbathing, or simply walking along the shore, marveling at its breathtaking beauty. The sunsets here are particularly spectacular, offering a perfect end to your afternoon.

 

As evening approaches, you'll have the remainder of the day at your leisure. You may choose to relax at your resort, explore local eateries for a delightful dinner, or simply unwind and reflect on the day's experiences on this enchanting island paradise.

True to it's name the beach has huge black rocks lying next to beach. In addition, beach has many unseen rocks within the water so we recommend to not to swim around. After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Havelock Island. Before departing, ensure that any remaining sightseeing in Havelock is completed, as no sights will be revisited.

 

Proceed to the harbour to board your cruise to Neil Island. The sea journey between Havelock Island and Neil Island typically takes 1 to 1.5 hours by ferry.

 

On arrival at Neil Island, transfer to your hotel and relax briefly before exploring the island.

Sightseeing in Neil Island:

• Bharatpur Beach – Known for shallow waters, coral views, and water sports.
• Natural Bridge (Howrah Bridge) – A naturally formed rock arch, popular for photography; best seen during low tide.
• Laxmanpur Beach – Quiet beach ideal for sunset viewing and leisurely walks.

 

Return to your hotel on Neil Island for an overnight stay.

Check Out and Leave your luggage at Hotel Reception. Visit Bharatpur Beach - Famous for Water Sports and in low tides you can walk into the sea (It is not Sea Walk) and Natural Bridge - If was not possible in yesterday evening due to high tides. - If it was not done yesterday. Take a cruise to return to Port Blair. Post lunch, you can enjoy the shopping at Port Blair.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Port Blair. Before departing, ensure that any remaining sightseeing in Port Blair is completed as no sights will be revisited.

 

Proceed to Port Blair Airport as per your flight timings. Our vehicle will drop you at the airport for your return journey to your hometown, marking the end of your Andaman trip.
