Jammu → Katra

Pick up from Jammu – Transfer to Katra (45 km / approx. 1.5 hrs)

Our vehicle will pick you up from Jammu Tawi Railway Station or Airport. Begin your scenic journey to Katra, nestled at the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains.

On arrival in Katra, check in to your hotel and relax for a few hours. Later in the day, depending on your preference, you may begin the climb to the sacred Vaishno Devi Temple or explore the local Katra market known for religious souvenirs and street food.

Vaishno Devi Darshan

Early in the morning, begin your journey towards the sacred shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India. The shrine is located approximately 13 km from Katra, and devotees can reach the temple by foot, pony, or helicopter service up to Sanjichhat.

En route, you may also visit:

Ban Ganga – the sacred stream where devotees take a purifying dip before starting the trek
Ardhkuwari Temple – a significant stop where Mata Vaishno Devi is believed to have meditated for nine months

Seek blessings at the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi, along with the sacred temples of Mata Mahakali, Mata Mahalakshmi, and Mata Saraswati.

After darshan, return to Katra the same evening.

Katra To Patnitop - Visit Sights on the way

After breakfast, proceed for Patnitop, a famous Hill Resort (95 Kms/3-4 Hours drive from Katra) which is perched on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of 2024 metres across which the Jammu – Srinagar Highway passes. Visit the famous Nag Temple, children garden, circular road, cable car and Patnitop park. Later arrive back at the hotel and relax for the day.

After early breakfast proceed to Srinagar for your trip you will be escorted to check in to the Hotel. Freshen up at the hotel. In the evening visit. The world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), & The Chasme Shahi Garden, & Shankaracharya Temple. Overnight stay at respective Hotel / Resort.

Return home with unlimited memories of mountains

After breakfast, you can relax in the hills based on time available. We would head to Jammu post that. On arrival at Jammu, we would cover the following points: Bage bahu, Kali Mata, Raghunath temple kol kandoli Later the vehicle shall drop you at the airport or railway station based on you departure time.
