Pick up from Guwahati Airport, Head to Shillong
Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport, our representative will warmly greet you. From there, embark on a scenic drive to Shillong, often referred to as the "Scotland of the East." The journey covers approximately 100 kilometers and takes around 3 to 3.5 hours, offering picturesque views of the changing landscapes as you ascend into the hills.
En route, you will visit the following captivating attractions:
- Umiam Lake (Barapani) – A serene and expansive artificial lake surrounded by lush green hills, perfect for a refreshing stop and some photographs.
After a beautiful drive, you will arrive in Shillong. Check in to your hotel and take some time to refresh.
Later in the day, explore some of Shillong's charming spots:
- Ward's Lake – A beautiful artificial lake with boating facilities, set amidst a botanical garden, ideal for a leisurely stroll.
- Police Bazaar – The bustling commercial hub of Shillong, perfect for experiencing local life, shopping for souvenirs, and enjoying street food.
The evening is at your leisure, allowing you to relax at your hotel or further explore the local market area.

Excursion to Dawki & Mawlynnong
Embark on an exhilarating single-day excursion from Shillong to the captivating realms of Dawki and Mawlynnong, promising a blend of natural beauty and cultural immersion. Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Shillong, heading towards Dawki.
The drive from Shillong to Dawki spans approximately 85 kilometers and takes around 2.5 to 3 hours, offering scenic views of Meghalaya's rolling hills.

Upon arrival in Dawki, immerse yourself in its pristine beauty. Key attractions include:
- Umngot River: Experience the magic of its crystal-clear emerald waters with an optional boat ride, so clear that boats appear to float on glass.
- Dawki Suspension Bridge: Marvel at this iconic structure offering panoramic views of the river and surrounding landscape.
Bangladesk Border Point: Witness the Borders of Bangaladesh and India.
Next, proceed to Mawlynnong, often hailed as "Asia's Cleanest Village." The journey from Dawki to Mawlynnong is a short one, covering about 20 kilometers, taking approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
In and around Mawlynnong, you'll encounter:
- Mawlynnong Village: Stroll through its immaculate pathways, adorned with flowering plants, and observe the sustainable lifestyle of its community.
- Sky View Point: Climb the bamboo machan for a breathtaking panoramic view stretching into Bangladesh.
- Riwai Living Root Bridge: A short walk from Mawlynnong leads to this remarkable example of bioengineering, where Ficus Elastica roots have been guided to form a natural bridge.
As the day concludes, begin your return journey to Shillong, a drive of approximately 90 kilometers, which will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. You'll arrive back in Shillong by evening, filled with memories of Meghalaya’s enchanting wonders.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Shillong. Before departing, ensure that any remaining sightseeing in Shillong is completed.

- Shillong Peak Viewpoint – Highest point in Shillong with sweeping city views.
After completing the local sights, begin your journey towards Guwahati. The distance between Shillong and Guwahati is approximately 100 km, and the travel time is around 3 to 3.5 hours by road.
En Route, visit (If not done already):
- Umiam Lake (Badapani) – A serene and vast man-made lake ideal for photography, boating, and enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding hills.
Continue your drive to Guwahati and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Note: Any sightseeing will be visited only once during the entire travel even if it is mentioned multiple times in the itinerary. In addition, no alternative sights or compensation will be arranged for the same.

- Christmas Dinner and New Year Dinner are mandatory in most of the hotels.
- Any expense which are done for personal entertainment.
- Flight Tickets/Train Ticket until unless not specified above.
- Camera Charges, and Tip at different sites and restaurants.
- Not mentioned specifically above. If something is committed and not mentioned in inclusion, please bring this in our notice ASAP.
- City Tour Tickets are included only in Andaman. In any other Indian states, it is not included.
- Additional Charges in case of Late Night (Post 8:00 PM) and Early Morning (Pre 6:00 AM) Picks up and Drops. (Not Informed during the itinerary discussions)
Land Package Cancellation Charges
- More than 30 Days before Travel - 15% of the total Package cost. Hotel /Cruise /Ferry cancellations/ retentions would be additional to the service charges of Cancellation.
- More than 15 Days and Less than 30 days Before Travel – 50% of the Package cost.
- Less than 15 Days / No Show – 100% of the Package cost.
- Travel Dates Between Dec 10 - Jan 20 – 100% of the Package cost (No cancellation entertained at this time)
