Barula Hotel , Kargil

We were 4 people and booked our 10 days Leh package from lazy yatra via travel triangle. Akhil was our SPOC who was very dedicated and thoughtful to plan our trip as per our expectations and interests. He was highly responsive &, flexible and I completely liked the way he had planned our complete trip with attention to minor details. I will definitely go for Lazy yatra to plan my future trips to ensure a hassle free and smooth planning for any trip.

First hotel Ladakh Himalayan retreat was nice, food options were also great and airport pickup on day one also happened on time.
Second hotel was average as it was a camp only, there were plenty of hotels too there which we got to know after reaching there
Night at Pangong went horrible for me as I felt so much breathlessness as if I will die that night. Thankfully camp owner had oxygen cylinder so used for an hour that but I guess this recommendation should have come from travel planner itself so that we could have been better prepared.
Third hotel Utpala was great in terms of stay but very bad in terms of food as they server only one vegetable in dinner and only poha+sandwich in breakfast. Could have been much better like we got in first hotel.
Travel from leh to Kargil via road was a mistake as after reaching Kargil, we were told that we will have to leave by 6am next morning because of some road travel guidelines so we slept early rather than visiting things in the evening in Kargil and after we checked out in the morning, we were told to stop at 2 check post while on the way from Kargil to Srinagar and each time we had to stay for 2hr-2hr. Along with that, after traveling for around 100km from Kargil, somewhere in the mid, there was road construction work going on so we again had to stop there for 2hr again.
basically it became a 12 hour travel and that too on a pretty bad road. so we reached Srinagar late night and thus couldn't roam there too.
Ideally people should travel from leh to Srinagar via flight as it will be even cheaper option, time saving plus quite comfortable. Our last 3 days wasted mostly in lengthy travel.
In a summary, people should be told to carry oxygen cylinder in Pangong and they should be told about better travel route from leh to Srinagar (if they want to prefer a convenient option) because roads are soooo bad between Kargil to Srinagar

It was an amazing experience with Lazyyatra. The hotels they have given was excellent and the staff members of all the hotels were so polite. Our driver, Mr. Mingur was very good he explained everything about the place and also he was very polite and honest by nature. Our travel agent, Rinki also gave the best possible package to us along with best hotels as per our requirement. We will definitely book again with Lazyyatra. It was an awesome trip.

As discussed, two feedback where need improvement

1. Hundur Residency ( Nubra ) was not so good- dinner and breakfast and stay quality below average and hotel staff is not well educated on customer service.

2. Leh to Srinagar Driver ( Rafik)

1. Driver missed out few of the points
2. Not professional when it come to customer ( eg- talking about personal family matters and telling negative points of ladakh)
3 Very talkative and getting involved in every topic
4. Driving skill was good

Bodhi Stay was very wonderful and hotel staff is really helpful and caring.

Overall journey is really memorable.

Sangaylay and Menstel were excellent. Though Organic boutique in deserves an excellent only very good as they changed dirty linen only after we noticed it. Barula is average for cleanliness and dirty linens. Driver was polite and punctual though he denied a drive upto Mann village saying not in itinerary. Our travel executive Akhil was extraordinary in every aspect. Overall the trip was fantastic and the pricing is highly competitive.
