Grand Ladakh - excellent in all respects...good food, courteous and efficient staff and gud rooms....will recommend everyone to stay there
Organic Boutique Inn - okay okay types...gud tents, ok food
Menstel cottage - food was gud but rooms were too small
Grand Yasmin - didn't like the overall hygiene of the hotel....food was also ok types...won't recommend to stay there when grand ladakh is just 5 steps away

The driver who was there on first day for Leh visit whose name was Ali was a very very gud person...he shud be there always in ur list

For the next 4 days we had a driver named Stanzin who was expert in mountain driving and was aware of all routes...but was too fussy and always was in a hurry for no reason whatsoever....the group didn't like his behaviour as he always wanted to have his own way...u shud ensure that he is not the one who drives around ur customers....

Overall was gud considering the location...and yes your local partner there was very helpful...overall very gud...but u need to find a way to have gud drivers who are going to be with ur guests for 4 days in a row

We booked the ladakh trip with Lazy Yatra.
It was an excellent experience with Lazy yatra. The itinerary and hotels were good.
Driver was very calm and always drove very safe.

budget friendly awesome packages tried this for the first time on my trip to leh ladakh from 29th july to 3rd august
and oh boy, the hotels, the food, the hospitality of the people, car, driver, everything was so decent and people were so cooperative and plans were well in place that we 5 friends didn't have a single problem and it seemed surreal since i am a guy from delhi, and we don't usually encounter with such good people . definitely will book from this package in future too, highly recommended

The drivers who accompanied us from Srinagar to Leh and for the entire Leh trip were very good and impressive. Special mention of Karma who was the driver in Leh. He was exceptional and very good.
Well planned and organised itinerary, with good transport facilities arranged. Except for the Lake Victoria house boat which was the worst house boat ever seen and the hotel in Srinagar which was not up to the mark of a 3 star, rest were good. The hotel in Leh specially Grand Ladakh and Upala and Kargil were very good with good hospitality. Organic Inn and Nubra had plenty of empty rooms don't know why they charged Rs.2000/- for a date change. Overall satisfied with the trip.

The trip has been planned in a very good manner. A special thanks to Chirag, who helped me plan the itinerary, and I appreciate his patience.
The driver is good, and the vehicle is in good condition. One thing to mention is that the driver was not aware of the Hanley route and struggled to navigate that route.

In Hanley, the cottage booked is somehow unavailable, and after an hour of struggle, Mr. Chirag arranged another cottage. Even though it's a minor item, this is the only concern.
Overall I will rate 4.5 out of 5 for the tour plan.

Thanks to the organisers of our holiday Lazy Yatra, our trip to Kashmir and Ladak was seamless. The drivers appointed to cart us around were obliging, punctual and willing to go that extra mile to suggest shopping areas. Although Lazy Yatra had suggested buying a post paid connection for our mobile sets, we ignored the guidelines, assuming that connectivity will continued at least at Sringar airport but we were flummoxed that all our cells were inoperable and there was no way to contact the driver although numbers were provided. In a fix, we called Rinki ---the main coordinator of the trip --- from the airport phone, who offered us relief when she said the driver was waiting at the gate. To our relief, he was there indeed!

Another aspect we realised was that in some overnight stays, local manager would allocate an inadequate room. After informing the Lazy Yatra the situation was promptly corrected. It is therefore recommended that travellers check their schedule and insist with local hotel manager on the allocated live in space for the night.

At isolated stays we were denied a bath for the evening because the hotel provided hot water only in mornings. Therefore , had to manage with ice cold water for morning jobs, in the event it wan early morning move towards next destination. However, we were informed later that hotel would make some arrangement for the same.

Tent stays were fraught with a few manageable insects, but the environment was certainly cold below comfort level.

At Pangyong lake which was a climax of scenic splendour, it is strongly recommended that tour organisers ought to desist from stays at the lake, rather after an hour long sojourn luxuriating in the most beautiful natural spectacle return to the hotel in nearby village rather than pass on the evening at the tent. This is because the weather goes down to 5 degrees or - 2 at night, accompanied with breathlessness, as we had experienced due to altitude. Here again, we had ignored the medical advice suggested on the guidelines fearing allergy from the drug. Not advisable for the senior citizens and children, unless you are equipped with oxygen cylinder. Travelliers ought to be prepared to travel long distances to get unprecedented sights, hihe mountains, curvecous roads, great valleys

and superb snow mountains, putting even the alphine mountains of the west in tough competition. All in all, it was an almost perfect and surely a memorable holiday
