Head to Bhuj from Ahmedabad

Start early from Ahmedabad and drive towards Bhuj (335 km / 6–7 hrs).

 

On arrival in Bhuj, check into your hotel and rest. If you started early morning, ensure the driver gets a minimum 6-hour rest before sightseeing.

 

Bhuj Sightseeing (Local Distance: Approx. 25–30 km / 3–4 hrs total):

  • Aina Mahal (Palace of Mirrors) – 2 km from city centre - Closed on Thursday
  • Prag Mahal – Adjacent to Aina Mahal - Closed on Thursday
  • Kutch Museum – 1 km from Aina Mahal - Closed on Wednesday & 2nd/4th Saturdays
  • Bhujodi Village – 8 km from Bhuj city
  • Swaminarayan Temple – 2 km from city centre
  • Hamirsar Lake – 1 km from Aina Mahal

End the day with a traditional Kutchi dinner at a local restaurant (within 2–3 km of city centre).

 

Optional Tour: You may stop at Dholavira (approx. 75 km diversion from Rapar; adds around 150 km / 3–4 hrs round trip) to explore the ancient Indus Valley Civilization site. (It will cost additional)

Head to Runn of Kutch from Bhuj

After breakfast, drive from Bhuj to Kalo Dungar (Black Hill) (Approx. 45 km / 1.5 hrs) — the highest point in Kutch offering panoramic views of the Great Rann and the Indo-Pak border area. En route, stop at India Bridge (Approx. 10 km ahead of Kalo Dungar), the last point accessible to civilians before the restricted border zone.

 

Continue your journey to Dhordo / White Rann area (Approx. 30 km / 45 mins). Check into your tent or resort.

Head to Dwarka from Rann of Kutch

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Diu. Complete any remaining sightseeing in Diu before you proceed to Vadodara. The distance between Diu and Vadodara is approximately 600 km, and it takes around 10–11 hours by road.

Visit Grand Statue of Unity After Completing Vadodara Sights

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Vadodara. Complete any remaining sightseeing in Vadodara before proceeding to Kevadia. The distance between Vadodara and Kevadia is approximately 90 km, and it takes around 2 hours by road.
