Pick Up from Bangaluru Airport, Head to Coorg Via Madikeri

Upon arrival at Bangalore Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and begin your journey towards Coorg. The total distance from Bangalore to Coorg is approximately 250 km, with an estimated travel time of around 6 hours. The journey is divided into two parts: Bangalore to Madikeri (120 km, approximately 3 hours) and Madikeri to Coorg (130 km, about 3 hours).

 

Upon reaching Madikeri, you may take a short break to refresh and enjoy some local cuisine. Continue your picturesque drive through lush hills and coffee plantations to reach Coorg.

After arrival in Coorg, check in to your hotel. The rest of the day can be spent exploring the nearby attractions, including:

  • Raja’s Seat – A beautiful garden offering breathtaking views of the valley and hills, especially at sunset.
  • Abbey Falls – A scenic waterfall surrounded by coffee and spice plantations, easily accessible by a short walk.
  • Madikeri Fort – A historic fort featuring a museum and panoramic views of Coorg town.

Coorg → Ooty

Head to Ooty from Coorg via Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary

Begin your day in Coorg by completing any remaining local sightseeing before checking out from your hotel. Once ready, embark on a scenic drive towards Ooty. The journey will take approximately 7 hours, split into two parts with a stop at Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary.

 

Coorg to Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary: Along the way, enjoy the lush landscapes and keep an eye out for wildlife in this protected reserve.

 

After your wildlife experience, continue your journey from Bandipur to Ooty. This scenic drive takes you through winding hills and tea plantations as you approach the Nilgiri hills.Upon arrival in Ooty, check in to your hotel and prepare to explore the charming hill station.

Visit the sights of Ooty which were not visited yesterday.

 

Today you will remain based in Conoor, Ooty, so will take a scenic train trip to Coonoor (Based on Train tickets). The distance between Ooty and Coonoor is approximately 20 km, with a train journey time of about 1 hour each way.
