The main Sham Valley circuit from Leh, including key attractions, spans approximately 70-80 km (round trip) and will take around 5-6 hours, including travel and dedicated sightseeing time at each stop.

En route and within Sham Valley, you will visit the following attractions:

• Magnetic Hill: Experience the intriguing phenomenon where vehicles appear to defy gravity and move uphill on their own. Located approximately 30 km from Leh, this spot offers a unique optical illusion and great photo opportunities. Spend some time observing and capturing this natural wonder.
• Hall of Fame: A war memoir which retells the stories of heroes who braved the enemy at the time of need.
• Gurudwara Pathar Sahib: A serene and revered Sikh pilgrimage site nestled amidst the majestic mountains. This holy Gurudwara is believed to house a sacred rock imprinted with the figure of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It is situated about 5 km further from Magnetic Hill.
• Sangam (Confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers): Witness the breathtaking sight where the distinct turquoise waters of the Indus River meet the often muddy currents of the Zanskar River. Set out on a thrilling drive to Nubra Valley, often referred to as the 'Valley of Flowers' and known for its high-altitude desert landscapes. The route will take you through the iconic Khardung La Pass.

The first leg of your journey from Leh to Khardung La Pass is approximately 39 km and typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic, as you ascend winding mountain roads.

En route, you will experience:

• Khardung La Pass – Standing at an altitude of 17,582 feet (5,359 meters), it is one of the highest motorable passes in the world.

After a memorable stop at Khardung La, you will continue your descent towards Nubra Valley. The drive from Khardung La Pass to Diskit, the main village in Nubra Valley, is approximately 90 km and usually takes around 2.5 to 3 hours, offering a dramatic change in scenery as you enter the wide valley.

Upon your arrival in Nubra Valley, prepare to explore its unique culture and stunning landscapes.

Attractions in Nubra Valley:

The distance between Nubra Valley (e.g., Diskit/Hunder) and Pangong Lake via the Shyok route is approximately 160 km, and the journey typically takes around 6 to 7 hours, depending on road conditions and photo stops.

• If Normal route/Shyok Route is closed due to Snow Melting or Rain or Administrative reasons, in such a case INR 4000/- for SUV & 7000/- for Traveler would be Extra for Warila Route.

From Hanle, embark on the journey to Umlingla, which takes around 2.5 to 3 hours by road, depending on conditions. Umlingla is renowned for being one of the highest motorable passes in the world, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks and vast high-altitude landscapes.

After soaking in the vistas and crisp mountain air at Umlingla, proceed towards Demchok. The distance between Umlingla and Demchok is around 30 km, with a travel time of roughly 1.5 hours. The route offers rugged terrain and panoramic views of the Indus River valley below.

At Demchok, explore the following:

• Demchok Village – a small settlement with traditional Ladakhi houses and a glimpse into local life near the India-China border.
• Demchok Chorten – a local stupa reflecting Buddhist spiritual heritage.

Depending on your flight schedule, you will then be transferred to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (IXL) for your onward journey, carrying with you cherished memories of Ladakh's pristine beauty and unique culture.
