Day 1

Pick up from Kathmandu Airport, and Relax Later in the Day

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. Transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu city, which is approximately 6 km away and takes about 20–30 minutes depending on traffic.

 

After check-in and freshening up, the rest of the day is reserved for relaxation. You may choose to (No vehicle is provided for the same):

  • Take a gentle walk in Thamel: Explore this bustling neighborhood known for its vibrant shops, cafés, and cultural vibe.
  • Visit Garden of Dreams: A peaceful historic garden offering a serene atmosphere perfect for unwinding.
  • Enjoy a traditional Nepali meal: Sample local cuisine at a nearby restaurant to immerse yourself in the culture.

Alternatively, you may prefer to simply relax in your hotel and recover from your travel, preparing for the exciting days ahead in Kathmandu.

Day 2

Local Sightseeings: Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, & Patan Durbar Square

Post breakfast in the morning, Start your day early in Kathmandu with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple. This sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is one of the most significant spiritual sites in Nepal, famous for its stunning architecture and vibrant religious ceremonies.

 

From Pashupatinath, head to Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its massive white dome and colorful prayer flags create a mesmerizing atmosphere, ideal for absorbing Buddhist culture and traditions.

 

Next enjoy your lunch at some local shop at your own cost and later travel southwest to Patan Durbar Square, located in Lalitpur just outside Kathmandu’s city center. This historic square showcases exquisite Newari architecture, ancient temples, and the royal palace, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Kathmandu Valley.

 

All destinations are within a short 15-30 minute drive from each other, allowing ample time for exploration and photography. Return to your accommodation in Kathmandu by evening to rest after a culturally rich day immersed in the city’s heritage.

Local Sights with Chandragiri Hill, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square

Begin your day early in Kathmandu and head to Chandragiri Hill, situated about 16 km southwest of the city center. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes. Chandragiri Hill offers panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan range, including Mount Everest on a clear day. You can take a cable car ride to the hilltop, where the Bhaleshwor Mahadev temple is located.

 

Return to Kathmandu city and visit the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. This ancient religious complex is perched atop a hill, offering stunning views of the city and a unique spiritual atmosphere. The stupa features a large white dome and a golden spire decorated with the eyes of Buddha, symbolizing wisdom and compassion.

 

Later, explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the heart of the city. This historic square houses ancient palaces, courtyards, and temples that showcase exquisite Newari architecture. Key highlights include the Taleju Temple, the House of the Living Goddess (Kumari Ghar), and the vibrant local markets where you can shop for traditional crafts.

Enjoy Shopping (No Vehicle Provided) and Drop to Airport

Your day begins in Kathmandu, where you can enjoy a relaxed and flexible shopping experience (Vehicle is not provide for the shopping).

Explore the vibrant shopping hotspots in Kathmandu city:

  • Thamel
  • Asan Bazaar
  • Patan Durbar Square Market
  • New Road

Take your time to browse and shop at your own pace, stopping for refreshments at quaint cafes or street food stalls that offer authentic Nepali flavors.

 

Based on your flight time, return to your hotel for your transfer to Kathmandu Airport.  The airport is located approximately 6 km from the city center, and the drive typically takes around 20–30 minutes depending on traffic.

 

Your day concludes with a comfortable drop-off at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, ready for your onward journey.

Trip Information

  • Any hotel services or charges not specifically included in the package.
  • Mandatory Gala Dinner charges (e.g., 24 December, 25 December, 31 December, 14 February, or any other date mandated by the hotel).
  • Vehicle heater charges or any additional air-conditioning charges, wherever applicable.
  • Emergency evacuation, rescue, or medical assistance expenses.
  • Travel and medical insurance.
  • Expenses of a personal nature, including laundry, telephone calls, room service, minibar, beverages, shopping, porterage, tips, and similar personal expenses.
  • Tourist permits, entry fees, or other government charges not specifically included in the package, except Inner Line Permit (ILP) where expressly mentioned.
  • Personal medicines, medical kits, oxygen cylinders, or any other medical equipment.
  • Flight tickets, train tickets, or any other mode of transportation unless specifically included in the quotation.
  • Camera, video camera, drone, or photography charges levied at monuments, sightseeing attractions, or other locations.
  • Any item, service, activity, meal, ticket, or expense not specifically mentioned under the Package Inclusions.

Domestic Travel

  • 50% of the total package cost for the confirmation.
  • Remaining Amount to be paid 30 Days Before the travel date

 

International Travel

  • Payment Policy will vary wrt (Though it would be communicated before booking otherwise domestic payment policy will be applicable.)

Resort Cancellation Charges

  • Each Resort has different cancellation policy.
  • Even though company common cancellation policies are illustrated below, yet Resort Cancellation Policy will override company cancellation policy.
  • Please confirm Resort Cancellation Policy before remitting the token amount.

 

Land Package Cancellation Charges

  • More than 30 Days before Travel - 13% of the total Package cost. 
    • Note Hotel /Cruise /Ferry cancellations/ retentions would be additional to the service charges of Cancellation.
  • More than 15 Days and Less than 30 days Before Travel – 50% of the Package cost.
  • Less than 15 Days / No Show – 100% of the Package cost.
  • Travel Dates Between Dec 10 - Jan 20 – 100% of the Package cost (No cancellation entertained at this time)
     

Flight Cancellation Charges

  • Individual Airline's and respective tickets have Cancellation Policy printed. Respective Cancellation Policy will be applicable in every case.

 

Cancellation Due to Visa Rejection

  • If Visa is rejected, Visa Fees would not be refunded as it is not refunded to us.
  • Cancellation charges will be applicable as per the terms defined above.

  • Vehicle will be provided as per the category booked (Sedan / SUV / Tempo Traveller). Specific model, brand, variant, color, or manufacturing year cannot be guaranteed.
  • Driver Duty Hours: Driver duty hours are 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM. Any service required beyond these hours will be subject to driver overtime or night charges, payable directly by the traveller unless otherwise mentioned in the package.
  • Early Morning / Late Night Service: If vehicle service is required before 08:00 AM or after 08:00 PM, driver night allowance/convenience charges will apply and must be paid by the traveller directly to the driver.
  • Airport Pickup Timing: For airport pickups, the earliest complimentary reporting time for the driver is 06:00 AM. Any pickup requested earlier than this time will attract additional night charges.
  • AC Usage in Hill Regions: Air conditioning may be switched off while driving in hilly terrain or steep gradients to prevent engine overheating (Vehicle breakdown) and ensure safe vehicle operation. This is a standard practice followed by transport operators.
  • AC Vehicles in Hill Destinations: Air-conditioned vehicle service is generally not applicable in hilly destinations such as Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Kashmir, Sikkim, Meghalaya, and Uttarakhand hill regions. AC usage will only be provided if explicitly confirmed in writing in the package or through official communication (email or WhatsApp).
  • Compliance with Traffic Laws: Drivers are strictly instructed to adhere to traffic regulations and speed limits at all times. Drivers will not exceed speed limits under any circumstances, even if requested by travellers.
  • Traffic Fines & Penalties: Any fine arising due to driver negligence will be borne by the driver. Any fine resulting from traveller actions or violations (including but not limited to seatbelt violations, littering, illegal parking instructions, restricted area entry requested by traveller, etc.) must be borne by the traveller immediately.
  • Shopping Stops & Activity Suggestions: Drivers may occasionally stop at or suggest local shops, restaurants, or activity centers during the journey. The company does not guarantee pricing, quality, authenticity, or services offered at such establishments and does not accept liability for any purchases or services availed by travellers.
  • No Commercial Tie-ups: The company does not claim any responsibility or guarantee regarding shops, restaurants, or activities visited during the trip. All such decisions are entirely at the traveller’s discretion and risk.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: Drivers and guides are third-party service providers engaged through transport partners. While we ensure professional conduct, the company cannot guarantee or control their individual recommendations regarding shopping or stops.
  • Driver Meal & Rest Breaks: Drivers are legally entitled to reasonable breaks for meals and rest during long journeys. Travellers may choose restaurants of their preference. In certain situations, the driver may require a separate short halt for meals, which travellers are expected to accommodate.
  • Travellers are expected to maintain cleanliness inside the vehicle. Any damage caused to the vehicle due to traveller negligence (including spills, stains, smoking damage, vomit, etc.) may attract cleaning or repair charges.
  • Travellers are requested to adhere to the planned schedule and reporting times. Delays caused due to shopping, extended halts, late reporting, or personal preferences may result in reduction of remaining sightseeing. The company will not be responsible for any sightseeing missed due to such delays.

  • Applicable only In case of Genuine Reason for Postponing the trip with Valid documents. Postponement would not be possible within a week of travel dates.
  • Credit for Maximum 9 months would be Provided.
  • Any Cancellation charges(Cruise/Flight/vehicle cancellation & Hotel Retention) would be deducted from the credit amount.
  • Rate Differences (It could be any amount great than or equal to ZERO), as per the new travel date, would be additional at the time of booking.
  • Company's Service Charges would be Zero.
  • A traveler can change the destination and increase/decrease/change the travelers, however minimum package cost must be equal/higher to postponed package cost.
  • A traveler can allow other traveler to use the credits  before expiry.
  • Any confirmed postponed trip, can not be cancelled/refunded further for any known and unknown reasons. If you are not a frequent traveler, please request cancellation only.
  • Coordinate with Airline Flight changes/amendments/cancellations/credit-shell.
  • In case of postponement, dates must be informed minimum 45 days before travel.
