Important Travel Information (Must Read):
- Local Taxi Union Restrictions: Private tourist vehicles from Srinagar are not allowed beyond Tangmarg during winter or heavy snowfall. Travellers must hire a local Gulmarg union chained tyred vehicle from Tangmarg to reach Gulmarg town and sightseeing points. ₹1,800–₹3,000 per vehicle (round trip), depending on weather and distance covered.
- Gandola Parking: Vehicle will be parked at the parking spot and from there we would need to walk around one KM to reach the base point. However vendors would confuse you and incorrectly inform you about the long walk.
After sightseeing and leisure time in Gulmarg, drive back to Srinagar in the evening and return to your hotel or houseboat.

Flight Cancellation Charges
- Individual Airline's and respective tickets have Cancellation Policy printed. Respective Cancellation Policy will be applicable in every case.
- Applicable only In case of Genuine Reason for Postponing the trip with Valid documents. Postponement would not be possible within a week of travel dates.
- Credit for Maximum 9 months would be Provided.
- Any Cancellation charges(Cruise/Flight/vehicle cancellation & Hotel Retention) would be deducted from the credit amount.
- Rate Differences (It could be any amount great than or equal to ZERO), as per the new travel date, would be additional at the time of booking.

Acute Mountain Sickness
- Precautionary Measures: No activities are planned for the first day of your trip unless specifically requested, to help you acclimate.
- First Day Recovery: It is expected that you should feel better by the first evening.
- Breathing Stabilization: If your breathing stabilizes before leaving for Nubra, Pangong, or Tso Moriri, issues are highly unlikely but not impossible.
- Oxygen Cylinder: If breathing issues persist, carry an oxygen cylinder or can. Rental charges for oxygen cylinders range from INR 500 to INR 1000 per day for the entire journey.
- Avoid Alcohol: Do not consume alcohol on the first day.
- Hydration: Drink enough water throughout the trip.
Motor Bike Rent
- Test Drive: It is crucial to judge the bike's condition. Please request a test drive before hiring, especially for difficult terrains.
- Deposit & ID: You must submit a deposit amount and your ID card to rent the bike.
- Extra Costs: The luggage carrier/saddlebag costs extra per day with the bike rental.
- Petrol Charges: Petrol charges are borne by the rider unless stated otherwise.
- Half-Day Rental: If renting the bike for half a day, return it by 2:00 PM; otherwise, full-day charges will apply.
- Leh Bike Restrictions: Bikes rented outside Leh are not allowed for sightseeing in Ladakh, including Pangong Tso, Nubra Valley, and Khardung La. They can only be used to enter Leh from Srinagar-Leh Highway or Manali-Leh Highway. For local sightseeing, rent a bike from a rental shop in Leh.
- Private Bikes: Private bikes are allowed everywhere in Ladakh. The private bike should be in your name or your father/mother's name. Having document proof associated with your and the bike owner's identities is generally sufficient.
- Ladakh Police: Unlike rest of the India, Police in Ladakh love people who follow rules. Don't flaunt the rules.
The Ladakh motor bike rental association has setup check posts at various sightseeing locations and they are mostly very active in checking especially in season time. Hence, do not get into any kind of ugly situation in case confronted and at fault. It will most likely ruin your trip and days you took off from office. Best bet in such cases is to act ignorant of the rule and agree to return to Leh to rent a bike motor bike from Leh for sightseeing.
Things to Know If Kashmir/Jammu is Included
- SIM Cards: Pre-paid SIMs do not work in Jammu, Kashmir (Mostly all Carriers), and Ladakh (BSNL, JIO, & Airtel). Post-paid SIMs with approved KYC are required.
- Gondola Ride: Book the Gondola ride at least 21-30 days in advance.
Union Related Issues and Information
- Vehicles are Non AC, Heater and AC if required will be provided on additional cost.
- In Kashmir AC/Heater, in the vehicle, would cost INR 300/- Per Day additional(as of Jun, 2024. In future cost may change.).
- In Ladakh AC/Heater charges are mentioned in Union Rate Sheet. Amount has to be compensated as per the rate sheet.
- In Ladakh Driver has to follow the Union Rate Sheet, in case of route diversion traveller must compensate the excess amount incurred.
- Due to Local Taxi Union Srinagar taxies are not allowed from base of Pahalgam, Sonamarg and Gulmarg.
- Pahlagam - Aru, Betaab and Chandanwari Valley costs additionally. Rates are listed on the display at the taxi stand.
- Sonmarg sightseeing i.e. Thajwash Glacier and Fish Point charges are additional. Rates has to bargained and discussed with drivers. There are No fix rates at Sonamarg.
- Gulmarg sightseeing - There is nothing much to see here except enjoying the world tallest Gandola/Ropeway, yet if you want to enjoy small sights then local vehicle has to be hired at an additional cost.
- Due to Snow Fall, if Taxi Vehicle with Tyre's cannot travel to Gulmarg, Traveller has to hire another vehicle from Tangmarg. It would be hired on an additional cost.
Houseboat (Srinagar) Related Updates
- Houseboat are sharing based. Basically one room is assigned in a single houseboat.
- These are boats anchored to a platform.
- Heaters are generally not provided Free of Cost in houseboats.
- To reach to the houseboat, Shikara Person must be informed in Advance.
- We work as Pure Service Agent.
- Day calculate 00:00 hrs to 23:59 hrs (Calendar Day), Driver take rest (Night Stay) minimum 8 hrs.
- Ac will not work in hill areas or stopped/parked vehicle.
- Vehicle will go where it can move safely. We would not push the driver to take a narrow road, Google Map does not Show the right Road a few Times.
- If you have paid for Innova, please expect it to be a minimum 10-12 years old vehicle. If you are expecting a good vehicle, choose Innova Crysta over Innova.
- Parking charges shall be included only one time to the sightseeing places, Market parking charges and it will not be covered to the hotels, cinemas, and shopping mall.
- After trip confirmation, it becomes very difficult to the duration of trip. We can maximize the same trip against additional tour cost as actual as per the availability.
- Package dates can be altered based on the availability of the hotel at the given date. Customer will need to bear the Excess amount if any.
- Any unused service, due to natural calamity or human reasons, would not be refunded.
- Any cancellations due to flight cancellation, and other similar situation would fetch 100% cancellation charges for unutilized room night, and vehicle.
- Check in and out time varies from hotel to hotel and it is between 10:00 hours to 14:00 hours.
- Early check in and late checkout request will be accommodated by the hotel during check in or check out and it is subject to availability and hotel terms.
- We are not responsible for bad weather conditions, political disrupts or any unavoidable reasons for cancellation of trip.
- At the time of quotation, we will share the vehicle details as well. If the vehicle is not as per your choice, please update.
- Extra charges are applicable for the vehicle used apart from the tour as mentioned in the itinerary.
- No refunds will be made for unused tours and hotel rooms.
- If required you can request the hotels for late check – out and the hotels will do the needful subject to availability of the room.
- Vehicle is strictly point to point. It will stick to the itinerary or will cover all the points listed in itinerary. Any additional pick and drop, would cost additional to the guest and it would be directly payable to the driver.
- We will not be liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of the reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc.
- City museums and monuments remain closed on National holidays. If any visit is missed due to closure or maintenance issues, we must not be held responsible for the same.
Any refund claims on the complementary part of the package shall not be entertained. - Anything Lost/left behind during the travel should be traveler’s responsibility. We do not own any responsibility. Traveler has to coordinate with respective entities to retrieve it back.
All disputes regarding the tour, voucher, refund, services, or whatsoever nature are subject to company's Jurisdiction. - Online payments to the company's bank account, via Google Pay account, through credit card, debit card or whatsoever means are convenience offered to the client. In case of online payments also, any dispute is subject to company's Jurisdiction.
- In case of no disputes raised within 48 hours against the shared voucher or tour, it is understood that the client has read and accepted the document along with terms in the voucher/package.
- Night driving allowance of ₹400-500 per night, if your trip requires night driving between 8:00 pm and 6:00 am for any night apart from the pickup night. We neither recommend nor provide night driving as part of the package.
- PLEASE TAKE AN INSURANCE FOR YOUR PACKAGE FROM GOOD INSURANCE COMPANY TO SAVE MONEY DUE TO LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION. Even the worst conditions attract HOTELS CANCELLATION, DRIVER CANCELLATION, PERMIT CANCELLATION, and SERVICE CHARGES.
- Hotel bookings are done with your Name. Sometimes agency names may differ.
- Carry medicines with you as you will be travelling long distances in a single travel.
- If required, lunch and dinner restaurants can be advised accordingly.
- Make sure you are aware about the prices of the services that you are using. As few hotels charge heavily for their services. Just bargain for things before even using them.
- If you are reaching late in the evening, please call the hotel. Sometime hotels release the booking if they are not informed about your delay.
- Please ask check-out time of the hotel. Make sure to check out as per guidelines. It may reduce headaches.
- As soon as you enter the hotel, make sure to ask the facilities (with the prices if any) available in the hotel to utilize them best.
- Talk to locals so that driver will not be able to cheat you.
- Please drink sufficient water to avoid dehydration especially in the high mountain areas.
- Keep the beaches, monuments, gardens and the environment clean and Dispose of the garbage at proper places/dustbins.
- Observe decency and decorum in dress, especially at places of worship.
- At the beach, parents are requested to keep an eye on their kids at all times.
- Enjoy the wilderness. Leave only footprints and take only photographs.
- Do not enter into restricted/tribal areas.
- While inside Tribal Reserve areas, do not take video, film or photographs of tribals.
- Do not light fire in forest areas##Do not stay on the beaches or forest during nights by putting up down tents/hammocks.
- Nudity on beaches and public places is forbidden and punishable offense.
- Do not enter the National Parks without permission.
