Udaipur, famously known as the "City of Lakes," is renowned for its rich history, majestic palaces, and serene lakes. After you settle in, embark on a half-day local sightseeing tour to explore the cultural and architectural wonders of this beautiful city.

Destination sightseeing spots in Udaipur:

• City Palace: A stunning complex of palaces overlooking Lake Pichola, showcasing exquisite Rajput architecture and panoramic views.
• Lake Pichola: Enjoy a boat ride on this picturesque lake.
• Jagdish Temple: A beautiful 17th-century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, known for its intricate carvings.
• Saheliyon ki Bari: A lush garden adorned with fountains, lotus pools, and marble pavilions, once a retreat for royal ladies.
• Bagore Ki Haveli: An ancient haveli turned museum showcasing royal artifacts, costumes, and traditional dance performances in the evening.

Sightseeing in Udaipur will be covered based on available time across your stay. Entry fees and boat rides are chargeable separately. For a complete experience, evening visits to Bagore ki Haveli Cultural Show or a Sunset Boat Ride on Lake Pichola are highly recommended.
 

Next day morning after breakfast at 9:00 AM, we would head Mount Abu (160 Kms – 3 or 4 hours required). On arrival at Mount Abu, check in to the hotel. After rest and lunch, we would head for the sightseeings. Cover Delwara Temple Mount Guru Shikhar (You would need to take around 500-600 straircases to reach to the top of the hill) Nakki Lake (Enjoy boating etc at your own expense) . Stay @ udaipur

• Mehrangarh Fort – One of the largest forts in India, perched on a hill offering panoramic views of Jodhpur’s blue rooftops. Discover its impressive palaces, museum, and intricate architecture.
• Jaswant Thada – A beautiful marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, surrounded by peaceful gardens and small lakes.
• Clock Tower and Sardar Market – Dive into the bustling local market where you can shop for spices, handicrafts, textiles, and sample authentic Rajasthani street food.
• Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum – Visit a part of this magnificent palace that showcases royal artifacts and vintage cars, while the rest serves as a luxury hotel.
• Mandore Gardens – Explore historic temples, cenotaphs, and lush gardens that reflect the rich heritage of the region.

Throughout the day, soak up the vibrant culture, architecture, and colors that make Jodhpur unique. Enjoy local cuisine for lunch or tea breaks at traditional eateries around the old city.

Please note that sights will not be visited twice. Your itinerary may include it multiple times, but the sights will only be covered once and no alternative sightseeing will be provided.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Jaisalmer. Before leaving for the desert, ensure you cover any remaining sightseeing points in Jaisalmer city that were not visited the previous day.

Once done, proceed towards your Desert Camp near Sam Sand Dunes. The distance between Jaisalmer and Sam Sand Dunes is approximately 40 km, and it takes around 1 hour by road to reach.

En route, visit the following attraction:

• Kuldhara Village – Located about 20 km from Jaisalmer, this abandoned village of the Paliwal Brahmins is famous for its mysterious history and heritage ruins that whisper tales of its haunting past.

Continue your drive to Sam Sand Dunes and check in at your desert camp.

Experiences at Sam Sand Dunes:

• Enjoy a camel safari across the golden dunes and witness the mesmerizing desert sunset.
• Attend folk dance and music performances by local artists at the camp.

Since your day starts and ends in Jaisalmer, there is no city change or hotel checkout involved. Begin your morning with a visit to the Jaisalmer Fort, After soaking in the heritage, head to a nearby restaurant to savor authentic Rajasthani cuisine for lunch.

Post lunch, visit Gadisar Lake, an ancient water reservoir surrounded by temples and chhatris, perfect for a leisurely stroll or boat ride. The serene environment here offers a contrast to the bustling fort area.
