Delhi 9 Days 8 Nights Tour Itinerary: Delhi to Chandigarh via Agra, Shimla & Manali

Vehicle shall pick you up from the designated location and head to the hotel for the check in. Later post rest, we would head to enjoy the city sights as mentioned below: Laxmi Narayan Temple, Qutab Minar, The Lotus Temple, Gandhi Smiriti, Red Fort, Rajghat, Humayun's Tomb, Akshardham Temple, Sarojini Nagar, and other point of interest. These points would be covered during your stay in Delhi (Not only in single day).

Head to Vrindavan after either pick up from airport or check out from hotel. In Vrindavan visit Prem Mandir, Banke Bihari, Temple, & Nidhi van. Later head to Mathura to Pay your heeds at Krishna Janmbhoomi, Vishram Ghat, Shree Dwarikadhish Temple and ISKCON temple. Later we will head to Aga from Mathura

Morning in Agra

Begin your day early by checking out from your hotel in Agra. Make sure to complete any remaining sightseeing before departure.

• Agra Fort (Red Fort) – A magnificent red sandstone fortress that once served as the residence of Mughal emperors.

Travel from Agra to Delhi

After exploring Agra’s historic landmarks, embark on the journey to Delhi. The distance between Agra and Delhi is approximately 233 km, with a travel time of around 4 hours by road.

Afternoon and Evening in Delhi

Upon arrival in Delhi, explore the vibrant capital city’s historic and cultural landmarks:

• Red Fort, Delhi – A massive red sandstone fort that served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors in Delhi.
• Jama Masjid – One of the largest mosques in India, known for its grand scale and beautiful architecture.
• India Gate – A war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers, surrounded by lush gardens.
• Connaught Place – The bustling commercial and shopping hub for an evening stroll and dinner.

Conclude your day with a relaxed dinner at one of Delhi’s renowned restaurants, savoring the local flavors before retiring for the night.

Today Morning After a Filling Delicious Breakfast, Visit Kufri, Popular among Trekkers. the Salubrious Climate and Stunning Natural Beauty Makes Kufri a Perfect Summer Getaway. Kufri is also Renowned for other Adventures Activities such as Skiing Tobogganing (sliding Downhill On a Sled) Etc. kufri Has the Oldest Skiing Slopes in Himachal Pradesh. Kufri is also a Haven for Nature Enthusiasts and Wildlife Lovers as the Himalayan Nature Park is Situated On the Outskirts of the Town. the Park is Home to Over 180 Varieties of Fauna. Kufri is blessed with tranquility, scenery and is dotted with tourist attractions like Mahasu Peak, Chini Bunglow, Indira Tourist Park etc. When back in Shimla, visit the Vice Regal Lodge- once the summer residence of various British viceroys, it boasts of an interesting English Renaissance architecture. Thereafter in the evening, enjoy a leisure walk on the Mall Road. After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Shimla. Before departing, ensure that any remaining sightseeing in Shimla is completed as no sights will be revisited. Begin your journey towards Manali via the scenic Kullu Valley. The distance between Shimla and Manali is approximately 250 km, and it would take around 7 to 8 hours by road, depending on traffic and weather conditions.

 

Enroute Sightseeing (Kullu Region):

• Pandoh Dam Viewpoint – A scenic man-made reservoir along the Beas River.
• Hanogi Mata Temple – A revered hillside temple overlooking the valley.
• Kullu Shawl Factory – Explore traditional Kullu weaving and purchase authentic woollen products.
• Beas River Rafting Point (Optional) – Adventure lovers can enjoy river rafting at designated points near Kullu (time & weather permitting).
• Vaishno Devi Temple (Kullu) – Small sacred shrine located by the roadside.

 

After completing the enroute visits, continue your drive to Manali and check in to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free for leisure.

Today we will be covering Manali local sight seen afterpickup from manali volvo bus stand which covers major attraction Hadimba Devi Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Handicraft centre, Old Vashisht village, sage Vashishta Temple which is famous for its natural hot water springs , club House, Manu temple , Van Vihar and so much enjoy . Later after noon drop at Mall road road to spend and enjoy Market visit .Later drop to Hotel , dinner and overnight stay.

Today we will be covering Manali snow point which is called snow valley major attraction of day to enjoy snow activities and have a vast view of snowy clapped ountains , you can do adventuure activities at solang valley at your own expenses like paragliding , snow ride, zipline and much more , later drive to atal tunnel to visit Indian Great construction in Himalayas, in eve return to hotel for overnight stay .

Today marks your return journey from Manali to Chandigarh, with a captivating stop at Naggar Castle en route. Ensure you have completed any remaining Manali sightseeing before your departure.

 

Begin your day with a scenic drive from Manali to Naggar Castle. The distance is approximately 20 km, taking about 45 minutes to 1 hour. This historic castle offers panoramic views of the Kullu Valley.

 

Spend your morning exploring the architectural marvel of Naggar Castle. Wander through its ancient courtyards, admire the traditional Himachali artwork, and soak in the breathtaking vistas. This is your primary sightseeing stop for the day.

 

After your visit to Naggar Castle, embark on the longer leg of your journey towards Chandigarh. The total distance from Naggar to Chandigarh is approximately 250 km, with an estimated travel time of 7 to 8 hours.

 

While the direct route from Naggar to Chandigarh is primarily focused on reaching your destination, the journey itself offers glimpses of the picturesque landscapes of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.

 

You would be directly transferred to Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station as per your onward journey.
