Jaipur Local Sightseeing and Head to Ranthambore

We will cover the sights which were not covered yesterday or day before. Otherwise you can enjoy the shopping time in Jaipur Market.  we will head to Ranthambore.

 Ranthambore National Park is approximately 230 Kms from Jaipur. It would take around 4 hours to reach .

Ranthambore National Park – Jungle Safari

Embark on an early morning jeep or canter safari (around 6:00 AM).

Explore the dense forests, ancient ruins, and scenic lakes while spotting wildlife such as tigers, leopards, deer, sloth bears, and a variety of birds.

Return to your resort after the safari and enjoy breakfast.

  • Sightseeing:

Ranthambore Fort – A UNESCO World Heritage Site perched atop a hill inside the park. Explore its temples, massive gateways, and panoramic views of the park below.

Trinetra Ganesh Temple – Located within the fort, this is one of the oldest temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha in Rajasthan.

Padam Talao – The largest lake inside the park, often seen in tiger documentaries, and a great spot for birdwatching.

Rajiv Gandhi Regional Museum of Natural History – A well-maintained museum showcasing the region’s wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation efforts.

Ranthambore - Jodhpur Via Ajmer Pushkar

Morning: Ranthambore to Ajmer

Begin your day with an early hotel checkout in Ranthambore. Complete any remaining sightseeing in Ranthambore, such as a quick visit to the Ranthambore Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site offering panoramic views of the park.

Depart for Ajmer, covering a distance of approximately 230 km which takes about 5 hours by road. En route, enjoy scenic views of Rajasthan's countryside.

Midday: Ajmer to Pushkar

Travel from Ajmer to Pushkar, a short distance of about 15 km (approximately 30 minutes). Pushkar is famous for its sacred lake and vibrant bazaars.

  • Visit the Brahma Temple, one of the few temples dedicated to Lord Brahma in India.
  • Explore the Pushkar Lake, surrounded by holy ghats where pilgrims perform rituals.

Afternoon: Pushkar to Jodhpur

Post breakfast, we will visit the sites, as mentioned, in the city and later head to the Camp. On the way to the camp visit Kuldhara Abondoned village. The village is famous for its legends and myths and is said to be haunted. The abandoned village sits solitary amidst the barren stretches of the Thar Desert. Check In @ Camp/Resort. After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Jaisalmer. Before departure, ensure that all remaining sightseeing in Jaisalmer has been completed. Begin your journey towards Udaipur, the City of Lakes. The distance between Jaisalmer and Udaipur is approximately 530 km, and the travel time is around 9 to 10 hours by road.
