Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Jaipur. Complete any remaining sightseeing or shopping before departing for Udaipur, the City of Lakes. En route, you’ll explore the spiritual towns of Ajmer and Pushkar, each offering unique cultural and religious experiences.

• Ajmer Sharif Dargah – The revered Sufi shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, attracting pilgrims from all over India.
• Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra – A remarkable mosque built in just two and a half days, known for its Indo-Islamic architecture.
• Pushkar Lake – A sacred lake surrounded by ghats where devotees perform rituals and prayers.
• Brahma Temple – One of the very few temples in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, located near Pushkar Lake.
• Pushkar Market – A colorful stretch of cafés and shops selling handicrafts, jewelry, and local textiles.
• After sightseeing, continue your scenic drive toward Udaipur, passing through the rolling Aravalli Hills and traditional Rajasthani countryside.

 

On arrival in Udaipur by evening, check in to your hotel and relax.
The evening is free for leisure — you can enjoy a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola or explore Ambrai Ghat for serene lakefront views.

Along with the sights listed above, you can visit to Sajjangarh Fort (Monsoon Palace), perched atop a hill about 6 km from central Udaipur. This 19th-century palace offers panoramic views of the city, Fateh Sagar Lake, and the surrounding Aravalli hills.

 

Next, proceed to Ekling Nath Ji Temple, located approximately 22 km from Udaipur city center. This ancient and revered Shiva temple draws pilgrims and is renowned for its intricate architecture and spiritual atmosphere.

 

End your day with a leisurely walk along the Gangaur Ghat by Lake Pichola, where you can witness the vibrant local culture and enjoy sunset views.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Udaipur. Complete any remaining sightseeing in Udaipur before proceeding towards Jodhpur, the “Blue City” of Rajasthan. The distance between Udaipur and Jodhpur is approximately 250 km, and the journey takes around 5–6 hours by road, including an en route visit to Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara.

En Route Sightseeing:

• Shrinathji Temple, Nathdwara: A revered 17th-century temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, housing the deity in his child form as Shrinathji. The temple is a major Vaishnav pilgrimage site known for its grand aartis and intricate temple rituals.

 

Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check in to your hotel and later proceed for sightseeing in the city.

If you haven’t already, make sure to visit any remaining sights such as the majestic Mehrangarh Fort or the vibrant Clock Tower market before you depart. The journey from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer covers approximately 285 km and takes about 5 to 6 hours by road. This scenic drive takes you through the heart of Rajasthan’s arid landscape.

 

Continue on towards Jaisalmer, where you will check in to your hotel upon arrival.

Once in Jaisalmer, explore these highlights:

This famous shrine, which gained nation-wide renown during the India-Pakistan war of 1971, is a must-visit site in Jaisalmer. Dedicated to Tanot Mata, believed to be an avatar of Hinglaj Mata, the temple lies in close proximity to the Longewala border between the two countries. Legend has it that during the battle when thousands of bombs were being shelled, no bomb that fell near the temple diffused, thus protecting the locals and soldiers. Tourists can also visit the adjoining museum, which houses artefacts from the time of war. The temple is maintained by the Border Security Force of India. The area also boasts rows of windmills that add to the quaintness of the area. After visiting the temple, return to Jaisalmer for remaining sightseeing.

Your day begins in Jaisalmer, known as the Golden City of Rajasthan. Since your start and end point are the same city, there is no travel distance or en route sightseeing for this itinerary.

Airport Transfer: Depending on your convenience, arrange a transfer to Jaisalmer Airport. The airport is located approximately 15 km from the city center, with a typical travel time of 30 minutes.

Flight Details: Board your flight back to your hometown. Check your flight schedule in advance to ensure timely arrival at the airport.

Arrival: After landing back in Jaisalmer, proceed to your accommodation or residence. Take time to relax and unwind after your journey.
