Day 1

Arrival at Jaisalmer Airport and Jaislamer Sightseeing

After arrival at Jaisalmer Airport, meet and greet our representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. The distance between Jaisalmer Airport and the main city center is approximately 15 km, and it takes around 30 minutes by road to reach.

 

After check-in and a short refreshment break, proceed to explore the Golden City of Jaisalmer, renowned for its yellow sandstone architecture and desert charm.

Sightseeing in Jaisalmer:

  • Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila) – A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s largest living forts, offering panoramic views of the city.
  • Patwon Ki Haveli – The most elaborate haveli in Jaisalmer, famous for its intricate carvings and architecture.
  • Salim Singh Ki Haveli – Known for its unique peacock-shaped roof and artistic design.
  • Nathmal Ki Haveli – A beautifully crafted mansion combining Rajput and Islamic architectural styles.

Head To Jaisalmer Camp

Morning: After breakfast, complete any remaining local sightseeing in Jaisalmer before heading towards the desert. The Distance is 40 km and it will take 45 mins – 1 hour.

Embark on a captivating journey from the golden city of Jaisalmer to the vibrant blue city of Jodhpur. After completing your morning activities and checking out from your hotel in Jaisalmer, prepare for a scenic drive through the Thar Desert. The distance between Jaisalmer and Jodhpur is approximately 280-300 km, and the drive typically takes around 5 to 6 hours, depending on road conditions and stops.

 

Upon arrival in Jodhpur, known for its majestic forts and palaces, you will dive straight into exploring its rich heritage and vibrant culture.
