Day 1

Delhi to Narkanda

On arrival at delhi Airport / Railway station our representative will meet and greet you and your journey will start towards Himalayas place called Narkanda.On Theway Pass Through Chandigarh - Kalka - Shimla, Journey will take about 8-9 hrs to reach at narkanda which is surrounded by Alpine Trees,Check in the Hotel Dinner & overnight stay.

Narkanda to Chitkul - Scenic Drive Through Kinnaur Valley

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Narkanda. Before departing, ensure that any remaining sightseeing in Narkanda is completed, as no sights will be revisited.

 

Begin your scenic drive towards Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border.
The distance between Narkanda and Chitkul is approximately 250 km, and it would take around 8 to 10 hours to reach by road, depending on road and weather conditions.

En-route Sightseeing:

  • Kinnaur Valley Views – Scenic drive through deep valleys, Sutlej River stretches, and apple orchard landscapes.
  • Baspa River Viewpoints – Beautiful river scenery along the route towards Sangla Valley.
  • Rakcham Village – Peaceful Himalayan village surrounded by dramatic mountain backdrops.
  • Chitkul Village – Last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border, known for its pristine natural beauty.
  • Chitkul Mata Temple – Traditional temple reflecting local Kinnauri architecture and culture.

After completing the scenic drive and sightseeing, check in to your hotel/camp in Chitkul and relax for the evening.

Sightseeing Trip from Chitkul to Kalpa - Explore Kamru Valley, Kamru Fort & Sangla Village

Embark on a breathtaking scenic excursion from Chitkul to Kalpa, exploring the enchanting Kamru Valley, the historic Kamru Fort, and the picturesque Sangla Village.

 

Begin your day in Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. After a leisurely breakfast, check out from your hotel. Ensure all desired sights in Chitkul are covered before departing.

 

The journey from Chitkul to Kalpa is approximately 80 km and will take around 4 - 4.5 hours of driving time.

En route, you will explore:

  • Sangla Village: A charming village nestled in the Baspa Valley, known for its traditional Kinnauri architecture and apple orchards.
  • Kamru Fort: A historic fort located near Sangla, offering panoramic views of the valley and housing a temple dedicated to Kamakhya Devi.
  • Kamru Valley: A stunning valley renowned for its natural beauty, lush meadows, and the gurgling Baspa River.

 

Upon arrival in Kalpa, check into your hotel. The remaining part of the day is dedicated to exploring the beauty of Kalpa. You can enjoy the majestic views of the Kinner Kailash range, visit the local market, or simply relax and soak in the serene atmosphere of this beautiful hill station.

Kalpa to Tabo - Scenic Journey through Nako and Desert-Mountains

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Kalpa. Before departing, ensure that any remaining sightseeing in Kalpa is completed, as no sights will be revisited. Begin your adventurous drive towards Tabo, entering the spectacular cold-desert landscapes of Spiti Valley.


The distance between Kalpa and Tabo is approximately 165 km, and it would take around 6 to 8 hours to reach by road, depending on road conditions and sightseeing stops.

 

During the journey, witness the gradual transition from the lush green valleys of Kinnaur to the barren Himalayan desert terrain of Spiti.

En-route Sightseeing:

  • Khab Sangam – Scenic confluence point of the Sutlej and Spiti Rivers.
  • Nako Village – Traditional Himalayan village known for its peaceful atmosphere and mud-house architecture.
  • Nako Lake – Serene high-altitude lake surrounded by willow trees and mountains.
  • Nako Monastery – Ancient Buddhist monastery with spiritual and historical significance.
  • Gue Village – Remote Himalayan village famous for the naturally preserved 500-year-old mummy of a Buddhist monk.

Post Breakfast check out from Tabo Hotel and drive to Sarahan via Ribba , Reckong peo , will take around 7-8 hrs to reach at location , on arrival check in the hotel , if time permoits visit Beema Kali Maa Ancient Temple .dinner and overnight stay .

  • More than 30 Days before Travel - 15% of the total Package cost. Hotel /Cruise /Ferry cancellations/ retentions would be additional to the service charges of Cancellation.
  • More than 15 Days and Less than 30 days Before Travel – 50% of the Package cost.
  • Less than 15 Days / No Show – 100% of the Package cost.
  • Travel Dates Between Dec 10 - Jan 20 – 100% of the Package cost (No cancellation entertained at this time)
     

Flight Cancellation Charges

  • Individual Airline's and respective tickets have Cancellation Policy printed. Respective Cancellation Policy will be applicable in every case.

  • Hotel bookings are done with your Name. Sometimes agency names may differ.
  • If required, lunch and dinner restaurants can be advised accordingly.
  • Make sure you are aware about the prices of the services that you are using. As few hotels charge heavily for their services. Just bargain for things before even using them.
  • If you are reaching late in the evening, please call the hotel. Sometime hotels release the booking if they are not informed about your delay.
  • Please ask check-out time of the hotel. Make sure to check out as per guidelines. It may reduce headaches.
  • As soon as you enter the hotel, make sure to ask the facilities (with the prices if any) available in the hotel to utilize them best.
