Begin your day by departing from Chandigarh towards Shimla. The drive from Chandigarh to Shimla spans roughly 110 km and takes about 3 to 4 hours, navigating through scenic mountain roads and small towns.

En route to Shimla, consider visiting the following attractions:

• Pinjore Gardens: Just outside Chandigarh, these 17th-century Mughal gardens offer a refreshing stop.
• Timber Trail, Parwanoo: Experience a thrilling ropeway ride offering panoramic views of the Shivalik range (optional, time permitting).
• Kalka-Shimla Railway viewpoints: Catch glimpses of the UNESCO World Heritage toy train track.

Upon reaching Shimla, take a brief break to stretch your legs and perhaps enjoy lunch amidst the bustling Mall Road or Ridge. After a refreshing stop, continue your onward journey towards Narkanda. The distance from Shimla to Narkanda is approximately 65 km, and this leg of the journey will take around 2 hours.

As you drive from Shimla to Narkanda, you'll encounter these picturesque spots:

• Kufri: Known for its scenic beauty, zoological park, and adventure activities like horse riding and yak rides.
• Fagu: A small village offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas and apple orchards.

Arrive in Narkanda, a tranquil hill station nestled amidst dense forests and apple orchards. Check into your hotel and settle in. The rest of your day can be dedicated to exploring the serene surroundings of Narkanda.

From: Narkanda To: Sarahan

Wake up to the morning view in the town of Kalpa. Today we will head towards Tabo via Nako village. We will stop at Nako village where you can see the famous Nako lake. After a short halt in Nako village head towards Tabo via Gue Village.

The Gue village is famous for the Gue mummy which is a naturally mummified body of a Budhist Monk in a meditating position. Explore the monastery and after Gue head towards Tabo.

The Tabo Monastery is one of the famous monasteries in Spiti Valley. Tabo village is also famous for its caves (Tabo caves) which can be seen from the village. These caves are used by the monks for meditation and other purposes. Drive further to Kaza , check in the stay , dinner & overnight at Kaza.

Our first destination on day will be the Dhankar (sometimes spelled as Dankhar or Dhangkar) monastery. It is a 900-year-old monastery built on a valley spur. The word literally translates to Fort (Kar) built on a mountain (Dhang).
A 23km long drive on NH505 will take us to a point from where we take a right turn and continue the drive on a serpentine road connecting road (Sichling-Dhankhar Gompa).
The Dhankar monastery offers vantage views of the valley and the confluence of the Pin and Spiti Rivers. After spending some time at the monastery, we descend down to reach NH505, take a left turn, and continue driving on the highway.
At Attargo, we drive over the Attargo bridge and start our road journey into the Pin valley.

Your first destination is the iconic Key Monastery, perched dramatically on a hilltop overlooking the Spiti River. The journey from Kaza to Key Monastery is approximately 15 km and takes about 30 minutes.

• Key Monastery: Witness the breathtaking architecture of one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Spiti. Explore its ancient prayer halls, murals, and soak in the serene atmosphere.

From Key Monastery, continue your journey to Kibber Village, a short drive of about 8 km, taking approximately 15 minutes. Kibber was once the highest motorable village in the world.

• Kibber Village: Experience the unique lifestyle of the villagers and admire the traditional Spitian architecture.

From: Kaza To: Chandar Tal

Today after breakfast head towards the famous Chandratal Lake and visit the Chicham Bridge on the way just 5 kms from Kibber.

The Chicham Bridge is one of the highest (Altitude) bridges in Asia and is situated 5 kms ahead of Kibber village.

Chandra Tal lake is situated at a distance of 85-90 km from Kaza and is said to be the source of the Chandra river. On the way, you’ll cross the famous Kunzum Pass. Spend some time near the Kunzum Mata Temple situated on the top of the pass and head towards Chandratal Lake.

Enjoy some quality time near the lake. Camping is not allowed near the lake so the overnight stay would be 2 kms below the lake at our Campsite.

From: Chandar Tal To: Sissu

Today's journey takes you from the serene Chandratal Lake to the picturesque Sissu, traversing the majestic Kunzum Pass. This scenic drive is approximately 80 km and will take around 3-4 hours, depending on road conditions and stops.

Begin your day with an early morning visit to Chandratal Lake, also known as the 'Moon Lake'. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the turquoise waters reflecting the surrounding snow-capped peaks. Spend some time soaking in the tranquility and capturing the stunning landscapes.

As you depart Chandratal, your route will lead you over the spectacular Kunzum Pass. This high mountain pass offers panoramic vistas of the Lahaul and Spiti valleys. Take a moment to admire the dramatic scenery and the spiritual significance of the Kunzum Devi Temple located at the summit.

Upon reaching Sissu, check into your accommodation. Sissu is a charming village nestled in the Lahaul Valley, known for its natural beauty and the Sissu Waterfall.

After settling in, explore the local attractions of Sissu:

• Sissu Waterfall: A magnificent waterfall cascading down the mountainside, easily accessible and offering a refreshing experience.
• Himalayan River Rafting (Optional): If conditions permit and you're seeking adventure, consider a short rafting experience on the Chandra River.
• Local Village Walk: Take a leisurely stroll through the village to experience the local culture and interact with the residents.

From: Manali To: Chandigarh

Today marks your return journey from Manali to Chandigarh, with a captivating stop at Naggar Castle en route. Ensure you have completed any remaining Manali sightseeing before your departure.

Begin your day with a scenic drive from Manali to Naggar Castle. The distance is approximately 20 km, taking about 45 minutes to 1 hour. This historic castle offers panoramic views of the Kullu Valley.

Spend your morning exploring the architectural marvel of Naggar Castle. Wander through its ancient courtyards, admire the traditional Himachali artwork, and soak in the breathtaking vistas. This is your primary sightseeing stop for the day.

After your visit to Naggar Castle, embark on the longer leg of your journey towards Chandigarh. The total distance from Naggar to Chandigarh is approximately 250 km, with an estimated travel time of 7 to 8 hours.

While the direct route from Naggar to Chandigarh is primarily focused on reaching your destination, the journey itself offers glimpses of the picturesque landscapes of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.

You would be directly transferred to Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station as per your onward journey.
