Embark on a breathtaking single-day excursion from Gangtok to the stunning Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, and the optional Nathula Pass.

Your day begins with an early morning departure from Gangtok. The journey to Tsomgo Lake is approximately 35 km, taking around 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival at Tsomgo Lake, marvel at its pristine beauty, a glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains. You can enjoy a yak ride (optional, on extra cost) or simply soak in the serene atmosphere. Remember to carry warm clothing as the weather can be chilly.

Next, proceed to Baba Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to the brave soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh. The distance from Tsomgo Lake to Baba Mandir is about 15 km, taking approximately 30 minutes. Visit the temple and learn about the legend of Baba Harbhajan Singh. Experience the spiritual ambiance of this unique location.

For those interested and if permits are available, an optional visit to Nathula Pass can be arranged (on extra cost). Nathula Pass is a significant border crossing between India and China. The drive to Nathula Pass from Baba Mandir is a short 14 km, taking about 30 minutes.

After a day filled with incredible sights and experiences, you will drive back to Gangtok. The return journey to Gangtok from Baba Mandir (or Nathula Pass) will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

A Gangtok to Namchi sightseeing trip covers about 75 km and takes 2–3 hours by road. The journey offers scenic Himalayan views, forests, and small villages. In Namchi, key attractions include Char Dham, Samdruptse Hill, and Namchi Rock Garden. After sightseeing, visitors can enjoy a peaceful night stay in hotels or homestays with beautiful mountain views. The calm atmosphere and less crowded environment make Namchi ideal for relaxation. Weather is generally pleasant, but evenings can be cool.

Departure journey from Namchi to Bagdogra covers around 90–100 km, typically taking 3–4 hours by road. The route passes through scenic hills, tea gardens, and small towns.
