Bagdogra to Zuluk: A Day of Scenic Ascent

Your journey begins at Bagdogra Airport. After your arrival, you will embark on a picturesque drive towards Zuluk, a stunning high-altitude village in East Sikkim. The total distance to Zuluk is approximately 140 kilometers, with an estimated travel time of around 6 to 8 hours, depending on road conditions and en route stops.

 

En route, you will experience the following:

• Rangpo Checkpost: The gateway to Sikkim, where you'll complete necessary permits.

 

As you ascend, the landscape will transform, offering breathtaking views of the Eastern Himalayas. 

 

Upon reaching Zuluk, you will check into your accommodation. The rest of the day is dedicated to acclimatizing to the altitude and enjoying the tranquility of this remote Himalayan haven. Take this time to relax and prepare for the stunning sunrise views that Zuluk is renowned for.

After Breakfast, We would head to enjoy the sights in Zuluk. Most important sights in Zuluk are the followings: Kupup Lake. Baba Mandir. Nathang Valley. Later we will head to Gangtok back. However if you want to cover Nathula, along with the above sights, you can cover the same. There would be additional charges for the same. Charges will vary based on the season however it is around 5000/- Per vehicle. Usual Gangtok vehicles can not drive to Nathula Pass, so other vehicle will ferry you to the Nathula Pass.

Upon arrival in Darjeeling, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the "Queen of the Hills."
