Places to Visit in Jaipur (These sights will be cover during the entire stay at Jaipur)

  (Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and Jantar Mantar are close to each other and best visited in one stretch.)

• Patrika Gate – A colorful, photogenic gateway symbolizing Jaipur’s cultural charm.
• Moti Doongri Temple – A revered temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
• Amber Fort – Majestic hilltop fort; you can enjoy an Elephant Ride here at your own cost.
• Jal Mahal – Picturesque palace situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, ideal for photography.

Evening: Free for leisure or an optional visit to Chokhi Dhani Resort (Dinner chargeable extra). The resort is built in ethnic Rajasthani style and offers traditional experiences like camel rides, puppet shows, folk dances, snake charmers, and a delectable Rajasthani/continental dinner.

After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel in Jaipur. Complete any remaining sightseeing or market visits before starting your journey towards Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Rajasthan, renowned for its desert charm, yellow sandstone architecture, and majestic fort.

En route, you may visit the following attractions:

• Ajmer Sharif Dargah – A revered Sufi shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, attracting pilgrims from across the world.
• Pushkar – Famous for its sacred lake, the Brahma Temple, and vibrant streets filled with cafés and handicraft shops.

Continue your drive through the scenic desert landscapes of western Rajasthan, passing small villages and dunes that gradually introduce you to the charm of Jaisalmer.

On arrival in Jaisalmer by evening, check in to your hotel and relax after the long journey. The rest of the evening is free for leisure — you may stroll around the local markets or enjoy a quiet sunset view near Gadisar Lake.

Jaisalmer Local Sightseeing

Begin your day in the enchanting city of Jaisalmer, known as the "Golden City" for its stunning sandstone architecture. Since your start and end point are the same, no travel distance or time is involved today.

Visit these key attractions within Jaisalmer:

• Jaisalmer Fort: A massive living fort with bustling bazaars, havelis, and temples inside its walls, offering panoramic views of the city.
• Patwon Ki Haveli: A cluster of five intricately carved havelis showcasing exquisite Rajput architecture.
• Salim Singh Ki Haveli: Famous for its unique arched roof and ornate windows.
• Gadisar Lake: A serene man-made reservoir surrounded by temples and ghats, perfect for a peaceful stroll.
• Local Markets: Explore vibrant bazaars selling handicrafts, textiles, and traditional jewelry.

Head To Jaisalmer Desert Camp

In the afternoon, make your way to the Jaisalmer Desert Camp located just outside the city, approximately 15 km away, about a 30-minute drive. The camp offers a quintessential Thar Desert experience.

At the camp, enjoy:

• Camel safari into the golden dunes at sunset.
• Traditional Rajasthani folk music and dance performances around the bonfire.
• Authentic local cuisine served under the starlit sky.
• Opportunities for stargazing and peaceful desert views.

After an unforgettable evening in the desert camp, you can either return to your hotel in Jaisalmer city or opt to stay overnight at the camp for a full desert immersion experience.

Begin your day early in Jaisalmer. After checking out from your hotel, make sure to complete any remaining sightseeing in the city before heading out. Key sights to visit here include:

• Jaisalmer Fort – Known as the "Golden Fort," this living fort houses shops, temples, and residences inside its sandstone walls.
• Patwon Ki Haveli – A cluster of five havelis famous for intricate carvings and detailed architecture.

After completing your sightseeing, prepare for the drive to Jodhpur. The distance from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur is approximately 285 km, with an estimated travel time of about 5 to 6 hours by road.

Continue your journey to Jodhpur, arriving in the afternoon or evening depending on your departure time.

Upon arrival in Jodhpur, you can explore the following key attractions if time allows (& If not covered so far in the plan):

• Mehrangarh Fort
• Jaswant Thada
• Umaid Bhawan Palace
• Clock Tower & Sardar Market

Your day concludes with a drop-off at either Jodhpur Airport or Jodhpur Railway Station, as per your travel requirements.

Please note that sights will not be visited twice. Your itinerary may include it multiple times, but the sights will only be covered once and no alternative sightseeing will be provided.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to cover the remaining sightseeing points in Jodhpur that were not visited earlier. Complete sightseeing by 1:00 PM before departing for Udaipur, the City of Lakes. The distance between Jodhpur and Udaipur is approximately 250 km, and it takes around 5 to 6 hours by road.

En route, visit:

• Nathdwara Temple – A revered Krishna shrine known for its deity Shrinathji.

Upon arrival in Udaipur, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening.

Begin your day exploring Udaipur, the “City of Lakes,” known for its royal charm, serene waters, and beautiful architecture.
