Kochi → Munnar

Meet and greet from Kochi Head to Munnar via Athirapally Waterfalls

After landing in Kochi, meet our representative at the airport or railway station. Start your drive to Athirapally Waterfalls, which is approximately 70 km from Kochi and takes around 1.5–2 hours by road.

 

Athirapally sightseeing:

  • Athirapally Waterfalls – Known as the “Niagara of Kerala,” spend about 1–1.5 hours enjoying the top and bottom viewpoints. Entry fee: INR 40/adult, INR 10/child, INR 150/foreigner.
  • Thumboormuzhi Hanging Bridge – Pedestrian bridge over the Chalakudy River. Entry fee: INR 40/adult, INR 10/child.
  • Charpa Waterfalls – Small cascading falls ideal for photography.
  • Vazhachal Falls – Scenic waterfall surrounded by lush greenery.

 

After sightseeing, continue your journey to Munnar, which is approximately 130 km from Athirapally and takes around 4 hours by road.

 

Munnar sightseeing (on arrival or en route):

  • Valara Waterfalls – Cascading falls surrounded by dense forests.
  • Cheyyappara Waterfalls – Seven-step waterfall offering great photo opportunities.

 

Check in at your hotel in Munnar. The rest of the day is free for leisure – stroll through local markets or relax and enjoy the beauty of the hill station.

Munnar → Madurai

Head to Madurai From Munnar

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Munnar. Complete any remaining sightseeing in Munnar before beginning your journey to Madurai. Madurai is approximately 260 km away from Munnar, and it would take around 6–7 hours to reach by road.

 

En route, visit the following attractions (optional stops):

  • Spice Plantations near Munnar – Quick stops to see cardamom, pepper, and tea plantations
  • Scenic viewpoints along the Western Ghats – Ideal for photographs and enjoying panoramic views

 

Upon reaching Madurai, check in to your hotel. The rest of the evening is free for leisure.

Travel to Rameshwaram and Sightseeing

Post breakfast, we would travel to Rameshwaram. It would take around 4 hours to reach to the hotel and later visit the sights at Rameshwaram. Trivendrum → Alleppey

Trivendrum To Alleppey for Houseboat stay

Start your day in Trivandrum by checking out from your hotel after breakfast. Make sure to complete any remaining sightseeing here before departure.

Afterwards, embark on the scenic drive from Trivandrum to Alleppey, covering approximately 160 km. The journey takes around 4.5 hours by road.

Upon arrival in Alleppey, check in to your private houseboat by 2:00 PM and begin your tranquil cruise through the enchanting backwaters. Glide through narrow canals, lakes, and tiny hamlets while witnessing the calm village life of Kerala.

Your houseboat experience includes:

Points to visit at fort kochi are the followings: Fort Kochi Beach Chinese Fishing Nets St Francis Church Indo Portuguese Museum (closed on Monday) Mattancherry Palace / Dutch Palace (Friday Holiday) ... Jewish Synagogue (Friday Saturday Holiday) ... Jew Street. After fort kochi visit, Vehicle would drop you at Kochi Airport based on your flight timings.
