Our Kashmir & Ladakh trip with LazyYatra from 22nd September to 3rd October was an absolute dream come true! Every moment was perfectly crafted — from comfortable stays to breathtaking sights — making it effortless to soak in the stunning beauty of these magical places.

Lazy Yatra planned our Srinagar Ladakh Trip, 10 nights 11 days and we had an amazing experience in our entire Trip....From planning the iternary, selecting accomodation and arranging travel .. everything has been taken care in a seamless way. Especially the tie up they have with the Car operator, both in J&K as well as Ladakh....it was wonderful experience...The Drivers became close friends and the road trip came with lot of lifetime memories that we all will cherish. Also the flexibility Lazy Yatra provided for payments has been one of the great highlights...it helped to plan the trip financially in a very organised manner.

Definitely recommend Lazy Yatra to plan the trip and I will definitely travel again to another location with them.
A special Thanks to Akhil and Shipra.....they are amazing bunch of them players taking care of every detailed elements in the trip and super responsive to any queries.

Food at Victoria house boat was even below average. Paneer severed there was spoiled. Frequent light cuts at houseboat with limited inverter backup capacity. No complimentary water bottles available at house boat.

Coming to positives, stay at Green rooms was really appreciative. Food was delicious and wholesome all during the day. Stay also had all amenities.

Driver provided( Javed) was very cooperative, understanding and had good local understanding of the tourist spots. From time to time, Lazy Yatra coordinators were in touch to understand know how of us. Overall trip was excellent, just that don’t recommend staying at Victoria houseboat.

Sojourn cottages in Pahalgam was best stay amongst all- comfortable, well managed and highly recommended and we have really enjoyed there near river side. Had a good experience in House boat too. Welcome residency is Decent stay but we faced some issues with washroom cleanliness and maintenance and not a great experience in Sunbury Grand Aziz Hotel in srinagar- service is disappointing.

Driver was overall good though we did have one minor disagreement during the trip.

I wanted to share some feedback regarding our recent experience with your services.

Firstly, I want to commend the driver for being very polite and providing excellent driving throughout our trip. However, we did encounter a small communication issue with the driver.

I also want to express my appreciation for the service provided by Click Sunburry. They were very friendly and offered great assistance during our stay.

For future reference, it would be helpful if Yatra could provide information on activity rates for each season and additional details for foreigners. This would help avoid the high local rates we encountered during negotiations.

We recently returned from an unforgettable trip to Leh and J&K with Lazy Yatra, and Our driver, Karma ( Leh ) , and Irsad (J&k ), were absolute rockstars. They went above and beyond to ensure our group's comfort and enjoyment throughout the journey.

1. Houseboat experience was horrible
2. Food was horrible, will never recommend anyone to opt it
3. People around tourist area were very weird and asking for tips constantly
4. Hotel in Pahalgham was very average and room services for kitchen was not available for tea arnd 7pm or in th morning 7am
5. Hotel in Tangmarg was the best hotel we had in our whole trip
6. Breakfast buffet at all these hotels were limited and not as per our expectation
7. Srinagar hotel was also good but again food was not
8. Cab driver was very polite and helpful
9. In Kashmir trip only the food at outside hotel was reasonable and tasty
10. We will remember Kashmir for its beauty and Kashmiris for their rude behaviour, this is our concluded feedback for Kashmir

I don't think we will plan again this place in near future any time soon, but never say never

A. How was the stay in hotels?
Hotels were absolutely fantastic. Both the staff and the food were excellent.
B. How was the driver with sightseeing & Cordination?
Although the driver for Leh sightseeing was not upto our expectation, but when reported, @Akhil from Lazyatra, duly coordinated with the local operator and got the driver changed for the rest of the trip. Really appreciate such gesture.
C. How was the Travel Consultant? (It would be great if you can name her/him) in your review.
Akhil has been always in contact with us throughtout the trip and took care of our concerns with due priority. Excellent job Akhil !

As already mentioned earlier, we had a few minor initial hiccups mainly with the driver at Leh, but it was quickly sorted out so that we could have a seamless and memorable trip ahead. No complaints.

Drivers - Fida Hussain ( Srinagar ), Younis ( from Srinar to Leh ), Karma Tashi ( Leh - Jispa ) & Pankaj ( Jispa - Chandigarh ) were the true gems. We love drivers who can converse with us and prepare us what to expect upfront.

In short..... an excellent experience !

Our stay at Mehtab Palace is to be graded as average only as the property is deserved to be rated as 'budget category'. However, other hotels like Jojila Residency, Sangaylaya Palace, Hunder Residency( though changed in last moment from Organic Boutique Inn) and Mentsel Cottage were really excellent. Mentsel Cottage deserved to be given 10/10. The height of hospitality the staff showed with their limited resources is really appreciable. The property is very close to the lake, too.
Our driver for Kashmir ( Mr. Mansoor Hossain) is a good guy but during our whole trip he showed us only 1/4 of our scheduled itinerary. We missed Shalimar Bagh, Parimahal, Chasme Sahi and Sonamarg. He was always in hurry and persuaded us to shorten our trip. However, our driver at Ladakh is an awesome person. Mr. Tenzin not only followed the entire itinerary but also guided us in every place and situation.
Mr. Akhil of Lazyatra is also a gentleman of good heart. He was accessible always, guided our trip very nicely and arranged our holidays in a beautiful way.

Thanks to the organisers of our holiday Lazy Yatra, our trip to Kashmir and Ladak was seamless. The drivers appointed to cart us around were obliging, punctual and willing to go that extra mile to suggest shopping areas. Although Lazy Yatra had suggested buying a post paid connection for our mobile sets, we ignored the guidelines, assuming that connectivity will continued at least at Sringar airport but we were flummoxed that all our cells were inoperable and there was no way to contact the driver although numbers were provided. In a fix, we called Rinki ---the main coordinator of the trip --- from the airport phone, who offered us relief when she said the driver was waiting at the gate. To our relief, he was there indeed!

Another aspect we realised was that in some overnight stays, local manager would allocate an inadequate room. After informing the Lazy Yatra the situation was promptly corrected. It is therefore recommended that travellers check their schedule and insist with local hotel manager on the allocated live in space for the night.

At isolated stays we were denied a bath for the evening because the hotel provided hot water only in mornings. Therefore , had to manage with ice cold water for morning jobs, in the event it wan early morning move towards next destination. However, we were informed later that hotel would make some arrangement for the same.

Tent stays were fraught with a few manageable insects, but the environment was certainly cold below comfort level.

At Pangyong lake which was a climax of scenic splendour, it is strongly recommended that tour organisers ought to desist from stays at the lake, rather after an hour long sojourn luxuriating in the most beautiful natural spectacle return to the hotel in nearby village rather than pass on the evening at the tent. This is because the weather goes down to 5 degrees or - 2 at night, accompanied with breathlessness, as we had experienced due to altitude. Here again, we had ignored the medical advice suggested on the guidelines fearing allergy from the drug. Not advisable for the senior citizens and children, unless you are equipped with oxygen cylinder. Moreover since it's a defence area, electricity is shut off by 10 pm during which time you have to get all your cell phones recharged and of course be cottage management with ice cold water throught the stay, though hotel management may Thanks to the organisers of our trip Lazy Yatra our trip to Kashmir and Ladak was seamless. Travelliers ought to be prepared to travel long distances to get unprecedented sights, hihe mountains, curvecous roads, great valleys

and superb snow mountains, putting even the alphine mountains of the west in tough competition. All in all, it was an almost perfect and surely a memorable holiday

Stay in hotels was comfortable and services were really up to the mark. Welcome Gulmarg, Zaryab and Royal Star houseboat received us well and provided everything single thing we needed time to time. Only Lidder hotel led our expectations down due to their behaviour, hospitality and food.

Experience with driver (Zahid) also went well throughout the journey. His suggestions helped us manage our trip in a very easy going manner.

Travel consultant Rinki was always available with her instant support throughout the journey. She tried her best to made sure we recieve best services and experience in our journey.
We really enjoyed our trip and had some splendid moments. Will visit again definitely in winters now.

This was very well planned and well executed trip. I have been to Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh with my family. My kid (10 yrs old) also felt comfortable with this long (8 nights 9 days) journey. Specially mentioning Zozila Residency, Kargil for stay n food. Turtuk delight, Turtuk served home made food and Utpala Retreat in Leh treated us well.
I had a minor issue related to my car and driver, but lazyyatra took it for consideration. They solved it correctly.

Hotel in Pahalgam and Srinagar houseboat was good. Srinagar hotel was was not very clean. Driver was friendly and drove carefully. Travel consultant was helpful wherever needed but one complaint I have is that he did not provide us enough information on simcard and Gondola cable ride in Gulmarg. Only KYC approved postpaid sim works in Kashmir and I was not given proper information about that. He just said postpaid sim is needed and i converted it from Jio app without KYC hence didn't have network all through the trip. Secondly, the Gondola ride has to be pre booked online atleast 1-2 weeks before. I came to know about this very late and we missed the Gondola experience in Gulmarg. I am very disappointed by this.
Other than this our houseboat was changed last minute and the staff had not received our candle light dinner information. But travel agent coordinated and arranged for it. So overall it was a fine experience but I would check for other travel options for my next trip. Sorry.

The hotel stay experience for Mehtab palace was disaster. We only like affarwat* hotel in gulmarg. Driver was okay, as we like to travel in early mornings but because of driver we won’t be able to do that. Driver was very punctual with his given timings. Travel consultant is very good, they are always available for any query. Shipra and Akhil both are very cooperative. Overall experience is good, but you can do better if couple books the trip.

Stay in swan boat house was a nightmare and hotel dewan was also not good n food was not good at swan and dewan hotel (limited food was available even though we were in dinner time slot). Food n stay at Hotel Snowland and hotel heritage good. Cab driver n travel agent both are good.
Overall trip was good except few hiccups as mentioned above. Thanks

I want to provide a feedback about my recent trip to Kashmir valley. It was a wonderful experience exploring the beautiful snow covered mountains and beauty of kashmir. The driver given was also very helpful , he ensures that we were able to cover all places during our trip . We booked the package with Himanshu . Himanshu bhaiya was really helpful, he followed up via call with us on the trip . The stay and other arrangements were really beyond our expectations , also the food was good in the hotel.

Hotels were very good stays and enjoyed the food at every stays.
Drivers were faboulous especially in Leh. He took care of us like family member and provided details and guiding information at every place.
Akhil was our travel consultant and he is a star. He stayed in touch with me everyday and arranged everything in a seamless manner.

Overall the trip was awesome. He visited all the places we had planned and never felt rushed at any place.

Few changes I would like to suggest.
1 Boat House stay In Victoria, Breakfast was not so great.
2. We missed few places Like Lal chowk and Regal Tower. Driver could have been Much more Proactive.

Well worth it. Good planning and support. Only disappointing part is every place we went there need to take local vechile to visit places and keep our rental car at hotel for waiting. This is crazy, you have care and driver sit and wait and pay someonelse to take you around places. This is needs to change. Some place i paid 7K for 4 hours to see just one place. Also, some of the attrection places ppl try to rip us asking more money and not providing good service.
HOtel stay was good except one at Sonmarg. Not good service nor good foor at Sonmarg hotel.
Cab driver was good and frindly but he was very slow in driving, we felft spent more time on road due to this.

The drivers who accompanied us from Srinagar to Leh and for the entire Leh trip were very good and impressive. Special mention of Karma who was the driver in Leh. He was exceptional and very good.
Well planned and organised itinerary, with good transport facilities arranged. Except for the Lake Victoria house boat which was the worst house boat ever seen and the hotel in Srinagar which was not up to the mark of a 3 star, rest were good. The hotel in Leh specially Grand Ladakh and Upala and Kargil were very good with good hospitality. Organic Inn and Nubra had plenty of empty rooms don't know why they charged Rs.2000/- for a date change. Overall satisfied with the trip.

Experience is very good,
a. hotels are Very good, but not best. Since cost is reasonable, the hotels in this cost are acceptable.
b. Driver(Zakir) is good,
c. SPOC is reachable and good. But SPOC(Sumaira) could have been bit more helpful by pro-actively helping us to to know and plan our extra expenses. Since SPOC did not tell about extra expenses, we have almost spend double the amount on Extra activities like Skying, local Sight seeing in Gulmarg and Sonmarg, Golkonda ride etc.
d. Travel consultant(Vishal) was excellent in helping us and guiding us for planning.

TRIP was awesome. it was fresh snowfall during our visit make our trip mesmerizing. Stay at hotels are also very good. Overall experience life time experience and stay Forever in our hearts. Thanks to all the people of Lazy yatra who made this trip mesmerizing.

How was your stay in hotels and food there?
The stay at hotel in Srinagar was wonderful. The food at Victory hotel was very tasty and the staff was also very nice and friendly.
The Grand lord hotel at Pahalgam was ok since the photos were deceiving and it was not up to the mark in regards of hygiene. Food again was good and staff was generous.
The Welcome hotel at gulmarg was good and stay was great. The location was very near to gandola ride and staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was ok.
The lake victoria HB was a great experience but everything came downhill once we sat for our meal. The food was very bad and the staff was very sarcastic and rude. We told him that food was not upto the mark and he said that i told the cook but cook said that if they didnt like the food how come they are eating so much. At breakfast also i asked him to get me some bread toast and he said how many 15-20 in a very sarcastic way. The shikara ride from the hotel to ghat was also not great as they started asking for money. Even the HB staff cut his own tip without asking and returned our money. HB was great but food, staff and everything was very horrible.
How was the driver with sight seeing and every thing?
Driver was great and was very helpful. Only feedback is he was not accommodating when it came to our luggage. We were 6 people and had 9 suitcases and he not stop commented on the same. If we ask him to stop for shopping he would say where u will put it there is no space. Hire another cab for airport.

How was Rinki as your travel agent with your package?
Rinki was very helpful in whole trip. She was readily available and did a great job.

Ofcourse, this was our second trip from lazy yatra but just want to
Give a small feedback to share some good hotels where food and stay are great. Also, the drivers should b accommodating and not very rigid. We have faced driver issues in both our trips.

As discussed, two feedback where need improvement

1. Hundur Residency ( Nubra ) was not so good- dinner and breakfast and stay quality below average and hotel staff is not well educated on customer service.

2. Leh to Srinagar Driver ( Rafik)

1. Driver missed out few of the points
2. Not professional when it come to customer ( eg- talking about personal family matters and telling negative points of ladakh)
3 Very talkative and getting involved in every topic
4. Driving skill was good

1. Our stay was really good everywhere and food was also manageable (though, we found pahal gaon hotel’s food as one of the best in our trip)

2. Both drivers were really good but 2nd one was very co-operative and easy going

3. Rinki was very co-operative and approachable as whatever issues we had she resolved them quickly. She also made us understand the best package deal for us.

4. Definitely, we will book with lazyyatra again. Our experience was good

5. One of the best thrilling trip of our life

First hotel Ladakh Himalayan retreat was nice, food options were also great and airport pickup on day one also happened on time.
Second hotel was average as it was a camp only, there were plenty of hotels too there which we got to know after reaching there
Night at Pangong went horrible for me as I felt so much breathlessness as if I will die that night. Thankfully camp owner had oxygen cylinder so used for an hour that but I guess this recommendation should have come from travel planner itself so that we could have been better prepared.
Third hotel Utpala was great in terms of stay but very bad in terms of food as they server only one vegetable in dinner and only poha+sandwich in breakfast. Could have been much better like we got in first hotel.
Travel from leh to Kargil via road was a mistake as after reaching Kargil, we were told that we will have to leave by 6am next morning because of some road travel guidelines so we slept early rather than visiting things in the evening in Kargil and after we checked out in the morning, we were told to stop at 2 check post while on the way from Kargil to Srinagar and each time we had to stay for 2hr-2hr. Along with that, after traveling for around 100km from Kargil, somewhere in the mid, there was road construction work going on so we again had to stop there for 2hr again.
basically it became a 12 hour travel and that too on a pretty bad road. so we reached Srinagar late night and thus couldn't roam there too.
Ideally people should travel from leh to Srinagar via flight as it will be even cheaper option, time saving plus quite comfortable. Our last 3 days wasted mostly in lengthy travel.
In a summary, people should be told to carry oxygen cylinder in Pangong and they should be told about better travel route from leh to Srinagar (if they want to prefer a convenient option) because roads are soooo bad between Kargil to Srinagar

We were 4 people and booked our 10 days Leh package from lazy yatra via travel triangle. Akhil was our SPOC who was very dedicated and thoughtful to plan our trip as per our expectations and interests. He was highly responsive &, flexible and I completely liked the way he had planned our complete trip with attention to minor details. I will definitely go for Lazy yatra to plan my future trips to ensure a hassle free and smooth planning for any trip.

This was my third trips with Lazyatra and each time you exceeded my expectations. It was hassle-free and you accommodated last minute change due to flight cancellation. I enjoyed my vacation without worrying about any arrangement.
The hotels were approachable and on prime location and driver was humble and trustable.

We just want to highlight one point related to Pahalgam Hotel Green heights
Food taste can be improved much better.

The stays in hotel was good, the properties such as Sangalaya Palace and Fresh Water Retreat were really good.
Hotel Grand Yasmin was okay, as the food was not that good.

The drivers along with sightseeing and coordination was good, but would have really appreciated if the spoc in leh Sunil could have been accommodating by understanding the fact we had to modify the itinerary by directly coming back to hotel in Leh as my wife’s health was not good.
He could have adjusted the money but rather told a lie that we took the route of hemis monastery, there is only one route from pangong to leh via changla pass and we have to taken any alternative route, just for few hundred rupees the spoc lied and i did not appreciate it.

Travel Consultant Yugal was very helpful and supportive, the stays which were booked and suggested were good and the trip was a good experience overall.

Hey rinki, the hotels and food which were provided to us were very good. Food was excellent. Driver was very friendly and knows every place very well. All the view points and sight seeing places were scenic beauty. Coming to our travel agent rinki,she was super active in responding and helping whenever required. We will definitely book with lazy yatra for our next trip ! 😍

During our Kashmir Tour, Stay in hotels was good except swan group of houseboats, that one was unpleasant stay.
Food was good.
Driver was polite, humble and cooperative.
Rinki madam from Lazy Yatra, Jaipur suggested us a great Kashmir package according to our requirements.
Yes we would book again with lazyatra.

The stay and food in others was good but shaw inns food was below average. Overall it was great. Wasim The Driver was super cool and open to suggestions. Shefali the travel coordinator for our kashmir Trui was super accomodative and helpful. Absolutely i would book again with lazy yatra. Already recommended to friends & Family.

Vishal and his team did a great job on planning the tour for us to Kashmir. He picked up the right places for the time we had. He also picked up right hotels for us and took care of the driver/cab etc. He also helped us understand what is must do/ good to do and avoid in Kashmir. Despite we visited Kashmir for first time, the trip planned by Vishal made us feel comfortable and helped us by providing all the necessary details required to make the trip and amazing experience! I would anyday go for a trip planned by Vishal and his team again :)

All the hotels were extremely comfortable with all the amenities. Food provided by hotel was superb. Food was much better than the restaurants around. The driver alloted was really nice. He told us to trust him and just enjoy and we did the same. He knew the places very well. He adviced great adventures and places. He was a very good photographer as well. Yugal is an extremely experienced travel buddy. He provided us the best package and was always available on call. It was because of him only we were able to make safe plans for Kashmir. Now I know that whenever I will be planning a trip to anywhere....Yugal and Lazyyatra are the ones to rely on. Overall the honeymoon was just like a dream come true with all the luxuries and experiences in my budget.
