Thanks to the organisers of our holiday Lazy Yatra, our trip to Kashmir and Ladak was seamless. The drivers appointed to cart us around were obliging, punctual and willing to go that extra mile to suggest shopping areas. Although Lazy Yatra had suggested buying a post paid connection for our mobile sets, we ignored the guidelines, assuming that connectivity will continued at least at Sringar airport but we were flummoxed that all our cells were inoperable and there was no way to contact the driver although numbers were provided. In a fix, we called Rinki ---the main coordinator of the trip --- from the airport phone, who offered us relief when she said the driver was waiting at the gate. To our relief, he was there indeed!

Another aspect we realised was that in some overnight stays, local manager would allocate an inadequate room. After informing the Lazy Yatra the situation was promptly corrected. It is therefore recommended that travellers check their schedule and insist with local hotel manager on the allocated live in space for the night.

At isolated stays we were denied a bath for the evening because the hotel provided hot water only in mornings. Therefore , had to manage with ice cold water for morning jobs, in the event it wan early morning move towards next destination. However, we were informed later that hotel would make some arrangement for the same.

Tent stays were fraught with a few manageable insects, but the environment was certainly cold below comfort level.

At Pangyong lake which was a climax of scenic splendour, it is strongly recommended that tour organisers ought to desist from stays at the lake, rather after an hour long sojourn luxuriating in the most beautiful natural spectacle return to the hotel in nearby village rather than pass on the evening at the tent. This is because the weather goes down to 5 degrees or - 2 at night, accompanied with breathlessness, as we had experienced due to altitude. Here again, we had ignored the medical advice suggested on the guidelines fearing allergy from the drug. Not advisable for the senior citizens and children, unless you are equipped with oxygen cylinder. Travelliers ought to be prepared to travel long distances to get unprecedented sights, hihe mountains, curvecous roads, great valleys

and superb snow mountains, putting even the alphine mountains of the west in tough competition. All in all, it was an almost perfect and surely a memorable holiday

This was very well planned and well executed trip. I have been to Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh with my family. My kid (10 yrs old) also felt comfortable with this long (8 nights 9 days) journey. Specially mentioning Zozila Residency, Kargil for stay n food. Turtuk delight, Turtuk served home made food and Utpala Retreat in Leh treated us well.
I had a minor issue related to my car and driver, but lazyyatra took it for consideration. They solved it correctly.

This trip gave me special memories and lazyyatra is part of those memories. Thank you team!!

We recently did a tour in Ladakh and had contacted Lazy Yatra through Traveltriangle. Their quote was the most reasonable among the others who contacted. Like all agents, initially they also gave the default package with the typical spots (Leh/Nubra/Pangong). But based on my search, I asked them to include some off-beat locations (Panamik/Turtuk/Hunder etc). They customized the package to include these as well. The driver also took us to Thang village (the PoK border), surprisingly we didn't see too many soldiers there though. Rest of the places there are army bumkers every few km.
Though LY is based in Jaipur, They had coordinated the trip very well with a local agent based in Ladakh. We had no problem in the coordination at all.
I wish they had informed that Pre-paid SIM cards do not work in Ladakh. So none of our phones worked. I was really happy with this :), but my wife couldn't handle it and borrowed a SIM card from a hotel owner for the entire trip. Most hotels have Wifi and whatsapp works.

When we arrived in Leh, the driver was waiting with our name plackard. He was very polite, courteous and extremely skilled driver. On the 1st day itself he suggested we rent an Oxygen cylinder, since we were traveling with kids. We did that, but did not eventually need to use it. But I am sure a lot of people would need them especially since the first 2 days we had mild headaches and in Nubra valley also one may need to use it. The pressure does get low, my kid had lots of fun with the sealed packets of snacks puffing up and some bursting due to low pressure!
As for the hotels, the hotel in Leh (Shaolin) was simple no frills, neat and clean hotel with attentive staff, very good.
The hotel in Nubra (Olthang) was run down with maintenance issues, not even TV. Try other options if possible.
Pangong (Mentsel Cottage) - is a row of 8-10 small huts. All other hotels are similar, tough some have more rooms, but their basic cottage size and layout is similar. They are powered entirely by Solar panels, so can't afford to waste electricity on TV/Geyser. Insted they provide hot water when needed. It gets very cold in Pangong. Even in June the temperature was down to approx 5 C and it snowed, so carry warm clothes. The cottage was run by just 2-3 boys, but they were very hardworking and prompt in their service. We were looking forward to eating some local cuisine, but unfortunately like all other places the hotels there serve the same Punjabi/Indo-chinese food you'd get in any restaurant anywhere in the country. Most tourists don't eat the local cuisine, so they don't sell it much.

Ladakh itself is very beautiful - In the same scenery you will see barren mountains, snow clad peaks, desert and a blue river flowing. But unfortunately idiot tourists have littered trash even in such beautiful and serene locations. Avoid driving or venturing out at night as it gets very deserted, though I don't anticipate any safety concerns. The distances and driving time Google maps show are very misleading and the actual driving times are much longer. Trust your driver. Spend the first two days to acclimatize and take Avomine or other motion sickness medicines on an empty stomach if you have a tendency to get motion sickness. The drive from Leh to Nubra is tough without medicine for those with motion sickness, others are not as strenuous. Taking half a paracetamol also helps with occasional headaches in the first few days.

It was a wonderful trip . Stay was good too . Especially we liked the stay leh , it was very homely . Nubra was ok, we liked pangong and tso moriri also . Food very homely in leh, pangong and tsomoriri. Driver was excellent and well know with the road and very polite . Thank you akhil and shipra for the wonderful arrangement of the trip. It was a wonderful trip. The driver was just like a family. He stopped at places that we wanted to take photos us. He also took our photos. It was a wonderful time spent with him. The whole experience elevated because of him. The stay at Utpala Retreat at Leh, Royal Foster at Pangong and Organic Boutique Inn at Hunder wwere unforgettable. unforgettable ones. But the last minute change of stay at Tso Moriri totally not acceptable. The representatives were also not infomred about the same. But trip representative should confirm the stays a day prior to the arrival of guests at those places to avoid such situations. Also as a trip agent we totally trust in you guys. It would have been highly appreciated if you would have suggested to avoid some places to save money. Like puga valley and tso Moriri were not worth the extra cost. Though i had suggest that I wanted to visit it, but as a travel planner you guys should have suggested to avoid these.

We booked Ladakh package and it was excellent.
From booking to Hotels and vehicle, Ms.Mayuri coordinated and guided very well. The hotels booked were good. Stay and food in hotels were very good and staff was very cooperative. Driver(Mr.Karma) was supported in all respects to cover all the locations.
Thanks to all the people of Lazyatra who made this trip mesmerizing.

A. Hotels:
1. Shaolin Hotel, Leh - The hotel didn't have heaters for all rooms. In the winter season they need to have heaters in all rooms. There were hardly any rooms that were occupied, but they still couldn't give us a heater. The food was not cooked properly. Poor experience and service
2. Tsewang Nurboo Homestay, Nubra Valley - Excellent experience. The hosts were wonderful and very welcoming. They have given very good service and we're very sweet people.
3. Alpine Cottages, Pangong Lake - Average experience. There was no water in the bathrooms. The service provided was good and the food was tasty. Overall decent experience.
4. Grand Yasmin Hotel, Leh - Good experience and good food provided

B. Driver didn't recommend good local places to eat food. He was adamant and not flexible at all. Overall average experience.

C. Travel consultant - we had asked him to give us a young driver who would be flexible and know the local cafes, but that was not provided to us. He didn't give latest/updated information despite having connections with the drivers and hotels. Overall he was average.

We had a fun trip as we had done our research on local food and cafes. The weather was lovely and we experienced snowfall as well.

We had a memorable trip to Ladakh with Lazyatra. Mr. Akhil, Mr. Kunzang Gurmet and Mr. Padma executed it very well. Right from the very beginning, Mr. Akhil addressed all our queries and arranged everything perfectly. The local representative Mr. Kunzang co-ordinated everything very well. The driver Mr. Padma was well behaved, experienced with sight seeing, had good time management skills and coordinated well. The stay and food at hotel Singee Palace of Leh and Organic Boutique at Nubra were memorable. Though we had issue with the chilling weather at Organic Boutique, the host there were very cooperative and tried to make us feel comfortable. Overall we would like to give a 5- star review for the travel agency.

Had wonderful experience travelling ladakh. Even if temperature was in minus degrees hotels provided heaters so we could survive. Scenery was too beautiful felt like went inside a painting. Driver was very good and punctual. We could cover all places mentioned in itinerary. Food was tasty and people of ladakh are friendly and caring.

My trip to leh Ladakh was well arranged by lazyatra. Mr. Akhil designed out itinerary and the hotel stays which were economical, hygienic and safe. The trip was well managed and throughout the trip the team was in touch with us. Had a great experience with lazyatra.

P.S: During our trip, we covered leh, nubra valley, pangong lake and tso moriri. My advice would be to skip tso moriri if visiting pangong lake as the view is same but the weather is more harsh in tso moriri.

It was wonderful and amazing solo trip with lazyatra through travel triangle..Itinerary was well planned and suggested by Akhil.. Akhil and saransh as a travel consultant both stayed in touch with me through out the trip and always Quick to respond.. They managed everything smoothly and ensured I had a grt trip..Thanks to both for making my trip memorable and safe.. Stays at the hotels specially in Leh (Utpala retreat)and pangong ( pangong woods) was very comfortable, delicious food and had all the amenities..Driver was also good and very polite.. The hotel we stayed at Leh was guru residency. It was a beautiful hotel over the hill. The tent stay in nubra was a wonderful experience. At last we went to pangong having the marvellous view. Driver Sonam bhai was a pro. The consultant was Akhil he was in constant touch from the day of enquiry to departure from leh.

Sangaylay and Menstel were excellent. Though Organic boutique in deserves an excellent only very good as they changed dirty linen only after we noticed it. Barula is average for cleanliness and dirty linens. Driver was polite and punctual though he denied a drive upto Mann village saying not in itinerary. Our travel executive Akhil was extraordinary in every aspect. Overall the trip was fantastic and the pricing is highly competitive.

Hotels were very good stays and enjoyed the food at every stays.
Drivers were faboulous especially in Leh. He took care of us like family member and provided details and guiding information at every place.
Akhil was our travel consultant and he is a star. He stayed in touch with me everyday and arranged everything in a seamless manner.

Overall the trip was awesome. He visited all the places we had planned and never felt rushed at any place.

I went to Leh along with my family for a period of 7 days. During my trip, I made a visit to Leh, Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, Pangong Tso, Tso moriri and Chumathang Hot springs through some breathtaking views during the ride. My stay at Hotel Kidar, Leh is excellent with great hospitality and some great food. At Nubra Valley, I have stayed at The Bangay, Hunder, Nubra which is a new property with great scenary and spacious rooms. I have enjoyed the stay at Nubra Valley. Thereafter, I have stayed at the Royal Foster Cottage at Pangong Tso which is located beside the lake with marvelous view of the lake and surrounding mountains and at Tso moriri I have stayed at Tsomoriri lake view hotel which is one of the busiest property at that location with beautiful rooms. The driver allotted to us was so good and have guided us properly so that all the sightseeing places can be covered in time and he was friendly and kind enough. The total trip was well coordinated and arranged without any hiccups by Mr. Akhil Sharma of Lazyatra who have continuously monitored our trip schedules and our health condition from time to time since ladakh is well known for its adverse climate due to its location at high altitudes and cold waves. Overall it is a great experience travelling with Lazyatra and special mention to Mr. Akhil Sharma for his coordination in having a successful trip with my family with lots of memories.

I had high expectations from you after successful trip to Andaman, few years back.

This time, Car and Innova driver Tashi were very good, helpful / cooperative and we had a good time with him. Well recommended for future trips.

Hotel Samaya, Leh was good / rooms great / staff also was very good.

Hotel Lemon Green, Pangong was a disaster, very bad view cottage offered and staff not cooperative.

Chiragh solved it later by offering crystal lake apartment, but it did waster a lot of our time of precious evening. We had expected much better services from Lazy Yatra.

Nubra valley, Sarai was good / food nice, staff also good. We had a good stay.

Tsomoriri - Tsomoriri resorts was average / staff was good cooperative

Overall, we feel to have been overcharged for the hotels by Lazy Yatra as the occupancy there was not much (average 50 %) and actual rates of resorts were much less than charged to us by Lazy Yatra.

We would still be interested to go with Lazy Yatra in future but we expect to have better deals really. Right now, we feel to have been cheated on the hotels.

Interaction with Chiragh / resolution of complaint was satisfactory and we are happy with him as such.

The trip has been planned in a very good manner. A special thanks to Chirag, who helped me plan the itinerary, and I appreciate his patience.
The driver is good, and the vehicle is in good condition. One thing to mention is that the driver was not aware of the Hanley route and struggled to navigate that route.

In Hanley, the cottage booked is somehow unavailable, and after an hour of struggle, Mr. Chirag arranged another cottage. Even though it's a minor item, this is the only concern.
Overall I will rate 4.5 out of 5 for the tour plan.

The drivers who accompanied us from Srinagar to Leh and for the entire Leh trip were very good and impressive. Special mention of Karma who was the driver in Leh. He was exceptional and very good.
Well planned and organised itinerary, with good transport facilities arranged. Except for the Lake Victoria house boat which was the worst house boat ever seen and the hotel in Srinagar which was not up to the mark of a 3 star, rest were good. The hotel in Leh specially Grand Ladakh and Upala and Kargil were very good with good hospitality. Organic Inn and Nubra had plenty of empty rooms don't know why they charged Rs.2000/- for a date change. Overall satisfied with the trip.

Hotels was amazing... very comfortable stay and the food was delicious as well. Our driver Mr Teswang Rigin is really very skilled and friendly guide. He gave us a wonderful tour throughout our journey

Trip to Leh Ladakh was a dream come true. It was really amazing and wonderful experience. Though faced some health issues and we had to cancel our visit to Pangong. Hotels at Leh namely The Kaal and Sangaylay Palace and Organic Boutique at Hunder Nubra were very good. Travel Consultant Rinki ji remained in contact all the time. She considered our health issue and rearranged our hotel bookings at no extra cost. Our Driver and local guide Shri Angchok ji was very caring, honest and helpful. We will definitely choose Lazy Yatra for our next trip.

Our experience for Ladakh package was excellent.
From booking to arrival to hometown, Ms.Rinki coordinated and guided very well. The hotels booked were good. Stay and food in hotels were very good and staff was very cooperative. Driver(Mr.Rigzin) was supported in all respects to cover all the locations.

Apart from Tso-moriri, stay was fantastic. Hotels and camps are really nice.Hotel staff was very helpful and supportive. Nubra camp food was not that good also food options were very limited. Driver was experienced and punctual. He was very well aware about places and he used to tell history about the places which we like a lot. Rinki is fabulous. very supportive and always there for your help.

If I ignore some bad moments which happend in Tso-moriri, overall trip was amazing. We enjoyed a lot and made a lots of memories. As discussed, two feedback where need improvement

1. Hundur Residency ( Nubra ) was not so good- dinner and breakfast and stay quality below average and hotel staff is not well educated on customer service.

2. Leh to Srinagar Driver ( Rafik)

1. Driver missed out few of the points
2. Not professional when it come to customer ( eg- talking about personal family matters and telling negative points of ladakh)
3 Very talkative and getting involved in every topic
4. Driving skill was good

The stays at Sangalay Palace in Leh and Organic Boutique homestay in Nubra were excellent. The food at Organic Boutique was delicious and fresh. The food at Sangalay was average. The stay and food at Pangong was good.
The driver was good and helpful but was rash driving at some places.
We had an overall excellent experience although faced some health issues due to high altitude of Ladakh.
There was a change in the travel consultant but we were not informed about it. We came to know only when we had contacted them few days before the trip.
The entire trip was well planned and coordinated. All the arrangements were done in a professional way.

Hotel Samaya Leh was awsm . Staff was friendly with delicious food . Nubra eco village good too but food was average . Mentsel cottage at Pangong was fine , staff was a bit overburdened.
Our Driving experience was fantastic as Driver Lobjang very cooperative. Vehicle windshield was broken so photo shoot in front view was bad actually 😔.
Rinki is very good and helpful, I would like plan my next trip with her assistance again .
In spite of tough terrains and few hurdles , my family with my lil daughter enjoyed it , just days were short for us ..

It was an amazing experience with Lazyyatra. The hotels they have given was excellent and the staff members of all the hotels were so polite. Our driver, Mr. Mingur was very good he explained everything about the place and also he was very polite and honest by nature. Our travel agent, Rinki also gave the best possible package to us along with best hotels as per our requirement. We will definitely book again with Lazyyatra. It was an awesome trip.

It was an amazing trip for us(we were a group of 4 people, 2 couples).
Since the very beginning the communication and collaboration with Akhil was really smooth, he made sure that we are getting the best services.
He helped me in selecting the best suitable package with good costing.
All the provided hotel options were pretty good, Hotel Sangyalay in Leh and Organic Boutique in Hunder were amazing stays.
Our driver cum guide Nawang Bhai is also amazing, he always made sure that we are comfortable in travel and have good knowledge about all the sightseeing areas.
Overall it was an amazing trip for all of us, a trip to remember, curated by the amazing team of lazyyatra :)

budget friendly awesome packages tried this for the first time on my trip to leh ladakh from 29th july to 3rd august
and oh boy, the hotels, the food, the hospitality of the people, car, driver, everything was so decent and people were so cooperative and plans were well in place that we 5 friends didn't have a single problem and it seemed surreal since i am a guy from delhi, and we don't usually encounter with such good people . definitely will book from this package in future too, highly recommended

Wow! It was an amazing experience.. I always chose arrange on my own whole time.. This is first time I opted for Package from LazyYatra- for Leh Ladhak package..
We had overall wonderful experience ..
Travel Agaent Rinki is exceptional.. She was available all the time for queries, and responded and arranged everything well..
Our driver Padma was also very innocent- and humble..
All the hotels booked in Leh, Pangong very amazing..Nubra was ok ok..
But other arrangements and hospitality is cherishable..

We booked the ladakh trip with Lazy Yatra.
It was an excellent experience with Lazy yatra. The itinerary and hotels were good.
Driver was very calm and always drove very safe.
Definetly we recommend LazyYatra for your next trip, if you want a hassle free and comfortable trip.

Stay/ Hotels:
Our first day stay was at Grand Yasmin which was not at all a good experience. They gave us room which was on third floor, not accessible through lift and was not even well furnished. Though they have given us a better room on our last day stay and experience was good. The food was quite great though.
On our 2nd and 3rd day we stayed at Sanghalay palace and the experience was amazing. The food and staff was very disciplined.
On 4th day at Nubra, we had a 2 day stay at Organic boutique inn. The room was average but the service was quite impressive. The food tastes like home and mouth watering.
On our 6th day we had a stay at Native hut in Pangong.. The room was pretty fine and food was okay.though we were not expecting much from Pangong, tso Moririri and Hanle we were not expecting much.
7th day we stayed in T Pajlor homestay in Hanle and i must say the service and the room was quite amazing as it was very remote area and the uncle and his daughters were very sweet to us. I would personally recommend that homestay to everyone.
On our second last day at Tso Moriri we had stay at lake view hotel, from where there is no view of lake😂. The room was very untidy and had a bad odour. We ordered maggie and it tastes yukkk so even the food was not eatable. It was the worst among all the stays we had.

Driver and Vehicle:
Our driver name was Tsering and he was quite active, he even took us to those places which are out of our reach. He briefed about the spots very well. The car xylo was also clean and comfortable.

Our travel consulatant Rinki... coordinated the trip well and was helpful.

Ladhak:
Finally, on the sightseeing and places visited, Ladhak in all have breath taking views, deserts mountains and rivers all at once, lot of scenic views, military camps, war memorials, border on India Pakistan and China. Overall a must visit place.
