Arrive in Chandigarh by Air or Train. After reaching in Chandigarh our cab will pick you and drive to Shimla . Overnight stay At Hotel.

Proceed for a full day of sightseeing covering Shimla city and Kufri, one of the region’s most popular hill attractions.

Sightseeing in Shimla:

• Jakhoo Temple – Ancient hilltop temple of Lord Hanuman; last 500–700 meters must be covered on foot or via local shared jeeps as tourist vehicles cannot reach the top.
• The Ridge – Shimla’s most iconic open space; completely no-vehicle zone and accessible only by walking.
• Mall Road – Famous shopping street with cafés and restaurants; tourist vehicles are strictly prohibited, walking required.
• Christ Church – Neo-Gothic landmark situated on The Ridge; accessible only on foot.
• Scandal Point – Popular viewpoint connecting The Ridge & Mall Road; walking access only.
• Lakkar Bazaar – Market area known for wooden handicrafts; vehicles are not allowed beyond a point, walking needed.
• Kali Bari Temple – Accessible by car close to the approach road, followed by a short walk to the temple.
• Kufri Viewpoint – Famous for Himalayan snow-capped range views; vehicles are not permitted until the top, and you must take local jeeps or walk depending on conditions.
• Kufri Fun World – Amusement and adventure park offering go-karting (seasonal), rides, and activities.
• Indira Tourist Park – Relaxing spot adjacent to the Himalayan zoo area.
• Himalayan Nature Park – Home to Himalayan fauna including snow leopards, wolves, and monals (entry ticket required).

 

🚐 Important Vehicle Instructions (Shimla & Kufri):

Tourist vehicles cannot enter Mall Road, The Ridge, or Scandal Point. Walking is mandatory. Expect considerable walking throughout the day due to administrative vehicle restrictions in Shimla & Kufri. The Lift (paid) near Mall Road can be used to avoid steep uphill walking.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Shimla. Before departing, ensure that any remaining sightseeing in Shimla is completed as no sights will be revisited. Begin your journey towards Manali via the scenic Kullu Valley. The distance between Shimla and Manali is approximately 250 km, and it would take around 7 to 8 hours by road, depending on traffic and weather conditions.

 

Enroute Sightseeing (Kullu Region):

• Pandoh Dam Viewpoint – A scenic man-made reservoir along the Beas River.
• Hanogi Mata Temple – A revered hillside temple overlooking the valley.
• Kullu Shawl Factory – Explore traditional Kullu weaving and purchase authentic woollen products.
• Beas River Rafting Point (Optional) – Adventure lovers can enjoy river rafting at designated points near Kullu (time & weather permitting).
• Vaishno Devi Temple (Kullu) – Small sacred shrine located by the roadside.

 

After completing the enroute visits, continue your drive to Manali and check in to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free for leisure.

Local Sightseeing in Manali in on the table today. Hadimba Devi Temple– undoubtedly the dungri temple dedicated to the goddess Hadimba , the Wife of Bheema of Mahabharata Fame, This is wooden temple, In the dense forest of magnificent deodar, is about 2.5 Kms from the Mall. It is a pleasant stroll to the temple which was built in 1553 A.D. Vashisht(3.5 kms from Mall) Hot Sulphur Water springs – Renowned for its hot water and temples. The springs of Vashisht are believed to possess medicinal properties. The waters of the hot brooks are believed to heal skin diseases. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to vashisht Muni & lord Rama temple is also there. Tibetan-Monastery (0.5 Kms) – This Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa dominates the Tibetan area around the bottom of the Mall in Manali. The Tibetan refugees built the Gompa in the late 1969. The main attraction of the monastery is the handicrafts of Tibetan artistry and the carpets that are woven and sold in the monastery. Club House (2 Kms from Mall) – Located on the left bank of Manalsu Nallah. Club house is famous for an amusement activities like skating, Disco Theque etc. Club house is surrounded by various picnic spots. Today morning after breakfast excursion trip to Rohtang Pass up to Solang Valley (upto Snow line refers to the barrier placed by the government to avoid risks during Heavy snowfall). In Solang valley you can Enjoy Skiing, Horse Riding, Yak Riding, Snow Scooter ride (on your own expenses) Afternoon at 4 - 5 pm return to Manali. However if you want to travel to Rohtang pass, another local vehicle must be hired as Manali union does not allow outside vehicles for Rohtang Pass.

Check out from the hotel. Enjoy your breakfast and move to Mcleodganj. On the way visit Naggar Castle that is 20-30 Kms from Manali. Art Gallery which is also part of the castle. Later move to Mcleodganj. Overnight stay at Mcleodganj.

(If you want to do some small trek, you can hire a guide to go Triund Trek.) Today post breakfast, we would cover Saint John in the Wilderness Church, Namgyal Monastery, Tibet Museum. Post late lunch we would head for Sunset Point. After an exciting tour of Dhauladhar Ranges, we would be returning to Mcleodganj. We will cover the sights that are still remaining including Bhagsu Nag temple, Bhagsu Nag Waterfalls, The Church, Dharamsala Stadium, Kunal pathri temple, Tea gardens, War memorial, and Tirlokinath temple. stop over at Dal Lake.

Post Breakfast, we will head to Dalhousie from Mcleodganj. We will cover the sights that are still remaining including Bhagsu Nag temple, Bhagsu Nag Waterfalls, The Church, Dharamsala Stadium,, we would visit Dharamsala Cricket Ground, The Highest Cricket Ground In India. Post that we would head to Dalhousie. It would take minimum 3 hours to reach to Dalhousie via hills. Dalhousie is another sleeping beauty crowded on weekend due to proximity from Punjab. On arrival check in the hotel and post relaxation, we would visit the local sights in Dalhousie. You can visit the Local Church and market . Later spend some time in Market and head back to the hotel.

After Breakfast check out and visit dalhousie sightseeing On the way visit Dainkund Peek. Spend your day at Khajjiar, better known as mini Switzerland. Enjoy the market and shop a little. After lunch toward Chamera Lake to enjoy the lake build by the blocked water used as Dam. Later in the evening enjoy local sightseeing: St. John's Church, Panchpula, Satdhara Falls, & Shree Raghunath Mandir. After that head to chandigarh over night stay in chandigarh.

If time allows or pending anything from the sightseeing list, cover the sights in Chandigarh. The Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, Rose Garden, Iskcon Temple, and Government Museum and Art Gallery are famous attraction of Chandigarh which we can cover either of the days during your Chandigarh stay/visit. Later drop to the Airport/Railway Station.
