Jispa → Leh

Jispa to Leh - Scenic Drive through Changpa Territory

"It is a breathtaking journey on a trail that is literally a ‘no mans’ land. The nomadic people, Changpass, are the most outstanding feature of this area. They can be seen moving from one place to another, grazing herds of goats, sheep and yaks. Changpas pass their days with their animals and move with their flocks, their only wealth from pasture to pasture according to changing season. Drive further from the stark moonscape to the lush green landscape. A very scenic passing through small lakes, waterfalls and streams.
