Upon your arrival at Leh Airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport), you will be greeted by our representative. From the airport, you'll be transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Leh. Given Leh's high altitude, it is essential to prioritize rest and allow your body to acclimatize to the environment. We recommend spending the initial hours relaxing at your hotel to prevent any altitude sickness.

After a period of rest and refreshment, in the late afternoon and evening, you will embark on a local exploration of Leh's prominent attractions, offering a glimpse into the rich history and vibrant culture of the region.

After arrival, explore the following attractions in Leh:

• Leh Palace: Perched majestically on a hilltop overlooking the town, this former royal palace provides panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding Stok Kangri mountains. Though partially in ruins, its architecture reflects the grand style of Tibetan palaces.
• Shanti Stupa: A magnificent white-domed stupa built by a Japanese Buddhist sect, offering breathtaking sunset views over Leh town, the Indus valley, and the surrounding mountain ranges. It's a perfect spot for photography and peaceful reflection.
• Leh Market: Immerse yourself in the local life by strolling through the bustling Leh Market. Here, you can find traditional Ladakhi handicrafts, woolens, prayer flags, and sample local street food, experiencing the vibrant local culture.

After a delightful evening exploring Leh, you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for further adventures.

Embark on an exhilarating single-day adventure starting bright and early from Leh. This action-packed day combines the mystical charm of Sham Valley with the breathtaking journey over Khardung La to the serene landscapes of Nubra Valley.

Kick off your day with an early start to explore the captivating sights of Sham Valley, located to the west of Leh. This exploration will allow you to soak in some unique natural and cultural wonders before heading towards Nubra.

• Gurudwara Pathar Sahib: Visit this revered Sikh shrine, built in memory of Guru Nanak Dev, known for its spiritual ambiance and the legend of the boulder.
• Magnetic Hill: Experience the intriguing phenomenon where vehicles appear to defy gravity and move uphill on their own.
• Confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers (Sangam): Witness the spectacular meeting point of the turquoise Indus River and the emerald Zanskar River, a stunning visual contrast.

After completing your Sham Valley exploration, you will return to Leh to prepare for the onward journey. 

Following your Sham Valley excursion, begin the scenic drive towards Nubra Valley. This journey takes you over one of the world's highest motorable passes, offering unparalleled views.

The first leg of your journey will be from Leh to Khardung La. This stretch covers approximately 40 km and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours due to the steep ascent and winding roads.

En route, visit the following attraction:

• Khardung La Pass: Stop at the iconic Khardung La Pass, standing at an elevation of 5,359 meters (17,582 feet). Enjoy the panoramic views of the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges, capture memorable photographs, and savor a hot cup of tea at the cafeteria.

After a brief halt at Khardung La, descend into the picturesque Nubra Valley. The drive from Khardung La to Diskit/Hunder in Nubra Valley is approximately 80-90 km and takes around 2.5 to 3 hours, offering dramatic changes in landscape from rugged mountains to vast sandy plains.

Upon your arrival in Nubra Valley, check into your accommodation. The rest of the evening is dedicated to exploring the unique attractions of this high-altitude desert valley.

• Diskit Monastery: Visit the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra Valley, perched on a hill, offering stunning views of the valley and featuring a magnificent 32-meter Buddha statue.
• Hunder Sand Dunes: Experience the "desert in the sky" at Hunder, known for its white sand dunes and the famous double-humped (Bactrian) camel rides, providing a unique cultural experience.

Embark on an epic single-day road trip from the picturesque Nubra Valley, through the mesmerizing Shyok Valley, to the stunning Pangong Lake, and finally concluding your journey in the vibrant city of Leh. This full-day adventure promises breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable memories.

Your journey begins from Nubra Valley (e.g., Hunder/Diskit) in the early morning. Set out for the captivating drive towards Pangong Lake. The distance from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via the Shyok Valley route is approximately 150-160 km, and the drive typically takes around 5-6 hours, offering a unique and less-traveled path.

Upon arrival at the magnificent Pangong Tso (Lake), prepare to be awestruck by its ever-changing shades of blue. Spend ample time at this iconic location, capturing photographs, walking along its shores, and simply soaking in the serene beauty. Remember to stay hydrated and acclimatize to the high altitude.

After experiencing the magic of Pangong Lake, commence your return journey towards Leh. The drive from Pangong Lake to Leh is approximately 220-230 km and will take around 6-7 hours, traversing the formidable Chang La Pass.

En route from Pangong Lake to Leh, the journey includes:

• Chang La Pass: Conquer the world's third-highest motorable pass at 17,590 ft (5,360 m). Stop briefly to admire the prayer flags and enjoy panoramic views (weather permitting).
• Druk White Lotus School (Rancho's School): Pass by this unique architectural marvel, famed for its sustainable design and connection to the movie '3 Idiots'.
• Thiksey Monastery (External View): Catch a glimpse of this impressive monastery, perched majestically on a hill, as you drive towards Leh.

By late evening, you will arrive in Leh. After a long yet rewarding day of driving and sightseeing, check into your accommodation. The rest of the evening is free for leisure, allowing you to relax and unwind.

Note:

• If Normal route/Shyok Route is closed due to Snow Melting or Rain or Administrative reasons, in such a case INR 4000/- for SUV & 7000/- for Traveler would be Extra for Warila Route.
  In case of any cost arises due to Any Detour or additional sight, the same must be borne by the traveler.

As your memorable Himalayan journey draws to a close, spend your last morning in Leh soaking in its unique atmosphere and collecting final memories before your departure.

After a leisurely breakfast, you might opt for a final exploration of Leh's iconic landmarks (At an additional cost if vehicle required.) if time permits.

Depending on your flight schedule, you will then be transferred to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (IXL) for your onward journey, carrying with you cherished memories of Ladakh's pristine beauty and unique culture.

• In the peak time, pickup/drops can be provided different vehicles (Including Ecco Vans) than mentioned in the package.
• Vehicle shall stick to the itinerary strictly. If there is additional cost arises due to additional sights or detour due to natural, administrative and human reasons, it must be strictly borne by the client.
