Once you've checked into your hotel, the most crucial activity for your first day in Leh is acclimatization. Leh is situated at a high altitude (around 11,500 feet or 3,500 meters), and it is vital to rest and allow your body to adjust to the reduced oxygen levels. We highly recommend spending the majority of your day relaxing at the hotel, avoiding strenuous activities, and staying well-hydrated.

The distance between Nubra Valley (e.g., Diskit/Hunder) and Pangong Lake via the Shyok route is approximately 160 km, and the journey typically takes around 6 to 7 hours, depending on road conditions and photo stops.

After checking out from your hotel in Leh, Meet and greet your representative or driver to commence the drive towards Jispa. Jispa is approximately 330-350 km away from Leh, and the drive typically takes around 10-12 hours, making it a long but incredibly rewarding day of travel.
