Bhuj Pick - Runn - Dwarka - Local - Somnath - Diu Via Sasan - Kevadia - Ahmedabad - Drop

Driver shall pick you up from the Bhuj Railway Station based on the timings. We would head to the hotel. Check In into the hotel and relax for a while. After lunch, we would start the locals sights. Followings are the local sights of Bhuj which can be covered based on the time available: Aina Mahal – A stunning 18th-century palace with intricate mirror work and Indo-European architecture. Need 45 Mins - 1 hour. Prag Mahal – A grand palace with Italian-Gothic architecture, offering panoramic views of Bhuj from its bell tower. Need 45 Mins - 1 hour. Kutch Museum – The oldest museum in Gujarat, showcasing Kutchi embroidery, coins, and tribal artifacts. Need 45 Mins - 1 hour. Sharad Baug Palace – Former residence of the Kutch rulers, now a museum with beautiful gardens. Need 45 Mins - 1 hour. Bhujodi Village – Famous for traditional Kutchi handicrafts and textiles, great for shopping and cultural insights. Need 2 - 3 hours. Smritivan Musuem – A Museum dedicated to destruction caused by the earth quack in 2003. Need 2 - 3 hours.

After breakfast, set out to explore the vibrant culture and natural beauty surrounding the Great Rann of Kutch. The region offers a unique blend of scenic landscapes, traditional villages, and historical sites that capture the essence of Kutch.

 

Sightseeing around Rann of Kutch (Any sightseeing mentioned will be covered once during the entire stay at Runn of Kutch):

• White Desert (Dhordo) – Witness the surreal expanse of salt marshes stretching to the horizon. The gleaming white sand creates an enchanting view, especially under the bright sun.
• Kalo Dungar (Black Hill) – The highest point in Kutch, about 462 meters high, offering a panoramic view of the Great Rann. Don’t miss the Guru Dattatreya Temple, dedicated to Lord Dattatreya.
• Bhirandiyari Check Post – Stop here to collect the entry permits required to access the Rann region.
• Handicraft Villages (Gandhi nu Gaam, Bhirandiyara, Hodka, Ludiya, and Khavda) – Explore these artisan villages to witness traditional Kutchi embroidery, mirror work, mud houses, and local lifestyle.

In the evening, return to the White Desert to enjoy the magical sunset views, where the salt plains reflect the changing colors of the sky. Later, you can also experience the Rann Utsav cultural performances featuring folk dances, music, and local cuisine (subject to season).

 

Return to your camp/resort near Dhordo (10–20 km away) for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive from your resort in Rann of Kutch towards Dwarka. Suggested stops along the way:

Jamnagar (Approx. 250 km / 5–6 hrs from Rann)

• Lakhota Palace - Closed on Thursday
• Lakhota Lake

 

Gondal (Approx. 60 km / 1 hr from Jamnagar)

• Naulakha Palace 
• Kothi Palace, showcasing Saurashtra’s royal heritage.

 

Continue the drive to Dwarka (Approx. 140 km / 3–4 hrs from Gondal). Check into your hotel and relax after the day’s journey.

After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a complete tour of Dwarka, soaking in its spiritual ambiance and historic charm.

Dwarka Sightseeing:

• Bet Dwarka Temple – Accessible by boat, this temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and his abode on the island.
• Rukmini Temple – Dedicated to Lord Krishna’s consort Rukmini, known for its beautiful carvings and architecture.
• Gomti Ghat – Take a holy dip in the Gomti River and witness the daily rituals performed by pilgrims.
• Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple – One of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, renowned for its religious significance.
• Dwarkadhish Temple Aarti (Evening) – Attend the mesmerizing evening aarti, a highlight of Dwarka’s spiritual experience.

Return to your hotel for overnight stay after a fulfilling day of devotion and sightseeing.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Dwarka and visit the Dwarkadhish Temple. Begin your drive towards Porbandar (Approx. 145 km / 3–3.5 hrs).

 

Porbandar Sightseeing:

• Kirti Mandir – Birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, showcasing his life and legacy.
• Sudama Temple – A unique temple dedicated to Sudama, a childhood friend of Lord Krishna.

 

Continue your drive to Somnath (Approx. 280 km / 5–5.5 hrs).

Somnath Sightseeing:

• Somnath Temple – One of the twelve Jyotirlingas, famous for its magnificent architecture.
• Bhalka Tirth – The site where Lord Krishna is said to have been mortally wounded.
• Geeta Mandir – A temple dedicated to the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.
• Triveni Sangam – The confluence of three rivers, considered highly sacred.
• Evening Aarti & Sound-Light Show – Experience the spiritual aura of Somnath Temple with the evening rituals and spectacular light show.

 

After the evening program, return to your hotel in Somnath for an overnight stay.

If you have not covered the local sights at Somnath, enjoy the local sights. Somnath Aarti is must, do not miss it at any cost. Later after breakfast and check out, we would head to Diu for the beach stay. The day would be relaxing for you. After relaxation enjoy sightseeing tour of Diu visiting St. Paul Church, Diu Museum (Closed on Wednesday), and Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple. In addition, you can even enjoy the beaches in the evening.

Post breakfast head to Kevadia. Settle down in the hotel and later visit Unity Glow Garden (Post 6:00 PM), The Statue of Unity Laser Show (Post 6:30), Illumination tour around. Overnight stay at Kevadia. Status of Unity remains closed on Monday.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and complete the remaining sightseeing in Kevadia before proceeding to Ahmedabad.

Head to Ahmedabad
