Bhuj → Rann of Kutch

Arrival at Bhuj Airport/Station - Bhuj Sightseeing and night stay at Runn

After arriving at Bhuj Airport / Railway Station, meet our representative and begin your local sightseeing in Bhuj.

Sightseeing in Bhuj:

  • Aina Mahal – 18th-century “Hall of Mirrors” showcasing Indo-European architecture.
  • Prag Mahal – Grand palace with Gothic-style sandstone architecture.
  • Kutch Museum – Gujarat’s oldest museum with tribal artifacts and Kutch history.
  • Bhujodi Handicraft Village – Famous artisan village known for weaving, embroidery, and Kutch handicraft shopping.
  • Vande Mataram Memorial (Anjar) – A large-scale patriotic complex depicting India’s freedom struggle.

 

After completing sightseeing, proceed towards the Rann of Kutch for your night stay. The distance between Bhuj and Rann (Dhordo region) is approximately 80–85 km, and it takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach.

Head to Runn of Kutch from Bhuj

After breakfast, drive from Bhuj to Kalo Dungar (Black Hill) (Approx. 45 km / 1.5 hrs) — the highest point in Kutch offering panoramic views of the Great Rann and the Indo-Pak border area. En route, stop at India Bridge (Approx. 10 km ahead of Kalo Dungar), the last point accessible to civilians before the restricted border zone.

 

Continue your journey to Dhordo / White Rann area (Approx. 30 km / 45 mins). Check into your tent or resort.

 

Sightseeing & Experiences:

  • Hodka Village – Known for Kutchi embroidery and leather craft.
  • Nirona Village – Famous for Rogan art, copper bell making, and lacquer work.
  • White Rann – Visit during sunset for a surreal view of the salt desert turning golden.

Rann of Kutch → Dwarka

Head to Dwarka from Rann of Kutch

After breakfast, drive from your resort in Rann of Kutch towards Dwarka. Suggested stops along the way:

  • Lakhota Lake

 

Gondal (Approx. 60 km / 1 hr from Jamnagar)

Dwarka to Somnath via Porbandar (Approx. 425 km / 8–9 hours)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Dwarka and visit the Dwarkadhish Temple. Begin your drive towards Porbandar (Approx. 145 km / 3–3.5 hrs).

 

Porbandar Sightseeing:

Somnath → Diu

Enjoy Sights and Later Head to Diu

If you have not covered the local sights at Somnath, enjoy the local sights. Somnath Aarti is must, do not miss it at any cost. Later after breakfast and check out, we would head to Diu for the beach stay. The day would be relaxing for you. After relaxation enjoy sightseeing tour of Diu visiting St. Paul Church, Diu Museum (Closed on Wednesday), and Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple. In addition, you can even enjoy the beaches in the evening.

Diu → Kevadia

Diu Sightseeing and Later Head to Kevadia

Post breakfast head to Kevadia. Settle down in the hotel and later visit Unity Glow Garden (Post 6:00 PM), The Statue of Unity Laser Show (Post 6:30), Illumination tour around. Overnight stay at Kevadia. Status of Unity remains closed on Monday.

After breakfast, we would head to SOU. Our taxi will go till SBB parking point, and to visit the sights within SOU, we will use electric buses or battery driven e-rikshaws within the premise.

 

We can cover the following sights within SOU.

  • Statue of Unity – The world’s tallest statue (182 m) dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel; includes museum, exhibition hall and viewing gallery. Approx. Cost: Basic entry: ₹150 (adult) / ₹90 (child). Viewing-Gallery ticket: ~₹380 (adult) / ₹230 (child). Express Entry: ~₹1,030.
  • Valley of Flowers – A 24-acre landscaped garden with over 300 flower varieties, located near the statue.

Kevadia → Vadodara

Head to Varodara for Sightseeing and Later Drop

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Kevadia. Before departing, ensure that any remaining sightseeing in Kevadia is completed, as no sights will be revisited. Begin your journey towards Vadodara.
The distance between Kevadia and Vadodara is approximately 90 km, and it takes around 2 hours to reach. Upon arrival in Vadodara, proceed for local sightseeing.

 

Sightseeing in Vadodara:

Laxmi Vilas Palace – The grand royal residence of the Gaekwad family and one of the largest private palaces in India.

Sayaji Baug (Kamati Baug) – A vast garden complex featuring museums, a zoo, and landscaped lawns.

Baroda Museum & Picture Gallery – Hosts rare collections of art, sculpture, and historical exhibits.

Kirti Mandir – Built in memory of Gaekwad rulers; known for murals and Indo-European architecture.

EME Temple (Dakshinamurthy Temple) – Unique aluminium-structured temple maintained by the Indian Army.
