After arrival at Jaipur Airport, meet and greet our representative who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. The distance between Jaipur Airport and the main city center is approximately 12 km, taking around 25–30 minutes by road.

Excursion to Khatu Shyam Ji From Jaipur

Begin your day with a drive from Jaipur to Khatu Shyam Ji, one of Rajasthan’s most revered temples.
The distance between Jaipur and Khatu Shyam Ji is approximately 80 km, and the journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours by road.

 

Sightseeing / Darshan in Khatu:

  • Khatu Shyam Temple – The main shrine of Lord Shyam (Barbarik), known for wish fulfilment.
  • Shyam Kund – Sacred water tank associated with divine healing.
  • Gourishankar Temple – A peaceful Shiva temple near the complex.
  • Shyam Bagichi – A holy garden linked with the legends of Barbarik.

 

After completing darshan, you may explore the local market for prasad and devotional souvenirs.

Later, drive back to Jaipur. The return journey also takes 1.5 to 2 hours approximately. Arrive in Jaipur and proceed to your hotel for rest or fly back from Jaipur (If required.).

Move Jodhpur via Ajmer and Pushkar (11-12 Hours)

Check out from the hotel after completing any remaining sightseeing in Jaipur. Begin your journey toward Jodhpur, visiting the sacred towns of Ajmer and Pushkar en route.

 

En route, visit the following attractions:

  • Ajmer Sharif Dargah – the revered shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, attracting pilgrims from all over the world

Jaisalmer Sightseeing - Tanot Mata Temple

This famous shrine, which gained nation-wide renown during the India-Pakistan war of 1971, is a must-visit site in Jaisalmer. Dedicated to Tanot Mata, believed to be an avatar of Hinglaj Mata, the temple lies in close proximity to the Longewala border between the two countries. Legend has it that during the battle when thousands of bombs were being shelled, no bomb that fell near the temple diffused, thus protecting the locals and soldiers. Tourists can also visit the adjoining museum, which houses artefacts from the time of war. The temple is maintained by the Border Security Force of India. The area also boasts rows of windmills that add to the quaintness of the area. After visiting the temple, return to Jaisalmer for remaining sightseeing.

After completing your exploration of Jaisalmer's golden fort and vibrant markets, check out from your hotel and embark on a memorable journey towards the "City of Lakes," Udaipur. While the main objective is a smooth drop-off, this full-day drive offers a chance to witness some of Rajasthan's stunning landscapes and architectural wonders.

The journey from Jaisalmer to Udaipur is approximately 500-520 km and typically takes around 9-10 hours of driving time.
