Pick up at Madurai Airport - Meenakshi Temple - Rameshwaram

After pick-up from Madurai Airport, our representative will assist you with the transfer. Stop at a nearby restaurant for breakfast (charges extra).

 

Begin sightseeing in Madurai, known for its vibrant culture and Dravidian architecture.

  • Meenakshi Amman Temple – A revered temple dedicated to Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareshwarar, admired for its towering gopurams and intricate carvings.

 

After completing sightseeing and lunch, proceed to Rameshwaram, one of India’s most sacred towns. The distance between Madurai and Rameshwaram is Approx. 180 km, and 4 hours would require.

 

En route attractions:

  • Pamban Bridge – India’s first sea bridge, offering panoramic ocean vistas before reaching Rameshwaram Island

 

On arrival, check in to your hotel. You may visit the local market or relax at leisure.

Travel to Kanyakumari and Sightseeing

Post breakfast, we would travel to Kanyakumari. It would take around 6-7 hours to reach to the Kanyakumari and post freshen up visit the following sights at Kanyakumari: Kanyakumari Bhagavathi Amman Temple Vivekananda Rock Memorial Thiruvalluvar Statue Gandhi Memorial Thanumalayan Temple Kanyakumari Sunset View Point Later enjoy your dinner and relax for the day.

Kanyakumari → Kovalam

Kanyakumari Sightseeing and Head to Kovalam

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Kanyakumari. Before leaving, make sure to complete any pending sightseeing in Kanyakumari. Begin your journey towards Kovalam, one of Kerala’s most scenic beach destinations. The distance between Kanyakumari and Kovalam is approximately 90 km, and the journey takes around 2.5 to 3 hours by road.

 

En route, visit the following attraction:

  • Poovar Island – A peaceful backwater paradise where the Neyyar River meets the Arabian Sea. Enjoy a beautiful backwater cruise through mangroves, golden sand beaches, and quiet lagoons.

Thiruvanthpuram Sightseeing

After breakfast at 9:00 AM, we would start the city tour of Thiruvanthpuram. Important attractions are the followings: Padmanabhaswamy Temple: hindus are allowed in the premise with a special dress code. Kuthiramalika Palace: Entry Fees – INR 40 (Timings: 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM and closed on Monday) Napier Museum (Timings: 10 AM - 5:00 PM and closed on Monday) Sri Chitra Art Gallery INR 400/- entry fees (Timings: 10:00 AM. to 5:00 PM and Monday Holiday) Attukal Bhagavathy Temple – Free and open all day.
