Places to Visit in Jaipur (These sights will be cover during the entire stay at Jaipur)

  • Hawa Mahal – Iconic “Palace of Winds” known for its stunning lattice windows.
  • City Palace – A grand complex showcasing royal architecture and artifacts.
  • Jantar Mantar – UNESCO-listed astronomical observatory located near City Palace.
    (Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and Jantar Mantar are close to each other and best visited in one stretch.)
  • Albert Hall Museum – The oldest museum of Rajasthan featuring historic art and sculptures.
  • Patrika Gate – A colorful, photogenic gateway symbolizing Jaipur’s cultural charm.
  • Moti Doongri Temple – A revered temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
  • Amber Fort – Majestic hilltop fort; you can enjoy an Elephant Ride here at your own cost.
  • Jal Mahal – Picturesque palace situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, ideal for photography.

Jaipur → Salasar

Jaipur to Salasar Hanuman Ji Via Khatu Shyam Mandir

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Jaipur. Begin your journey towards Khatu Shyam Ji, one of Rajasthan’s most revered temples. The distance between Jaipur and Khatu Shyam Ji is approximately 80 km, and it takes around 2.5 to 3 hours by road.

 

Sightseeing in Khatu Shyam Ji:

  • Khatu Shyam Temple – A highly revered temple dedicated to Lord Shyam (Barbarik), known for its divine ambience and wish-fulfilling beliefs.
  • Shyam Kund – A sacred pond believed to have miraculous healing properties.
  • Gourishankar Temple – A peaceful Shiva temple located near the main shrine.

 

After completing darshan and sightseeing, proceed towards Salasar, home to the famous Balaji Temple. The distance between Khatu Shyam Ji and Salasar is approximately 110 km, and it takes around 2.5 to 3 hours by road.

 

Sightseeing in Salasar:

Salasar Balaji Temple – A powerful Hanuman temple known for fulfilling the wishes of devotees and attracting pilgrims from all over India.

Anjani Mata Temple – Dedicated to the mother of Lord Hanuman; a peaceful place for darshan.

Sri Samrat Hanuman Mandir (optional) – Another spiritually significant temple for devotees.

Post Salasar Hanuman Ji Darshan - Head to Bikaner

After completing darshan at Salasar Balaji Temple, begin your journey towards Bikaner. Before departure, ensure that any remaining sights in Salasar are completed.

The distance between Salasar and Bikaner is approximately 170 km, and it takes around 3.5 to 4 hours by road. Upon arrival in Bikaner, check in to your hotel and proceed for sightseeing.

 

Sightseeing in Bikaner:

  • Junagarh Fort – A magnificent fort featuring palaces, temples, and intricate carvings.
  • Lalgarh Palace – A heritage palace known for Indo-Saracenic architecture and red sandstone beauty.
  • Karni Mata Temple, Deshnok (optional if not done earlier) – Famous for its sacred rats, located about 30 km from the city.
  • Ganga Singh Museum – Showcasing royal artifacts, weapons, and ancient manuscripts.

Head to Jaisalmer via Deshnok - Jaisalmer Sightseeing

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Bikaner. Before departing, make sure to complete any remaining sightseeing in Bikaner.

 

Begin your journey towards Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Rajasthan. The distance between Bikaner and Jaisalmer is approximately 330 km, and the travel time is around 5 to 6 hours by road.

 

En route, visit the following attraction:

  • Deshnok Karni Mata Temple (Chuhe Wali Mata Ka Mandir) – A unique and highly revered temple dedicated to Karni Mata, famous for the thousands of holy rats considered sacred and believed to be the reincarnation of devotees.

 

After your visit, continue driving to Jaisalmer. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel & proceed for sightseeing.

  • Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila) – The iconic golden fort that houses temples, shops, and residences.

Head to Jodhpur from Jaisalmer

Post breakfast, leave the Resort/Camp. Visit any sight, within the city limits, which was not covered so far. Head to Jodhpur. It would be approximately 280 KMs which would a ride of 6-7 hours with a few halts for lunch. Place to visit in Jodhpur are Mehrangarh Fort Jashwant Thada Sardar Musuem Ummed Bhawan Vintage Car Collections Mandore Gardens if time allows, you can visit the remaining places and later at EOD, vehicle would drop you at designated place.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to cover the remaining sightseeing points in Jodhpur that were not visited earlier. Complete sightseeing by 1:00 PM before departing for Udaipur, the City of Lakes. The distance between Jodhpur and Udaipur is approximately 250 km, and it takes around 5 to 6 hours by road.

 

En route, visit:

  • Nathdwara Temple – A revered Krishna shrine known for its deity Shrinathji.

Sightseeing in Udaipur will be covered based on available time across your stay. Entry fees and boat rides are chargeable separately. For a complete experience, evening visits to Bagore ki Haveli Cultural Show or a Sunset Boat Ride on Lake Pichola are highly recommended.

Udaipur → Pushkar

Head to Pushkar via Ajmer and Ajmer/Pushkar Sightseeings

After breakfast, we will head to Pushkar/Ajmer. The distance between Udaipur and Ajmer is approximately 300Kms and it would take minimum 6 hours.

On arrival at Ajmer we will visit the following place (Please note that places will be covered only once, even though mentioned twice in itinerary.):

  • Ajmer Sharif Dargah
  • Ana Sagar Lake
  • Nareli Jain Temple
  • Soniji Ki Nasiyan (Golden Jain Temple)

 

Later we will head to Pushkar. Points to cover to visit in Pushkar.
