Pick Up Jammu/Katra - Ma Vaishno Devi Darshan - Patnitop - Return to Jammu

On arrival at Katra, you will be received and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to relax from the journey. The day is at leisure to explore the local market of Katra, shop for souvenirs, or simply prepare yourself for the holy trek ahead. Overnight stay will be in Katra.

Early in the morning, begin your journey towards the sacred shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India. The shrine is located approximately 13 km from Katra, and devotees can reach the temple by foot, pony, or helicopter service up to Sanjichhat.

 

En route, you may also visit:

• Ban Ganga – the sacred stream where devotees take a purifying dip before starting the trek
• Ardhkuwari Temple – a significant stop where Mata Vaishno Devi is believed to have meditated for nine months

 

Seek blessings at the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi, along with the sacred temples of Mata Mahakali, Mata Mahalakshmi, and Mata Saraswati.

 

After darshan, return to Katra the same evening.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive towards Patnitop, a scenic hill station around 80 km from Katra. On arrival, check in to your hotel and later explore the beauty of Patnitop. Visit the famous Naag Mandir, enjoy a walk through the pine forests, and soak in the panoramic views of the Chenab basin. You may also try adventure activities like paragliding (seasonal) or simply spend the evening at leisure admiring the serene landscapes. Overnight stay in Patnitop.

After breakfast, you can relax in the hills based on time available. We would head to Jammu post that. On arrival at Jammu, we would cover the following points: Bage bahu, Kali Mata, Raghunath temple kol kandoli Later the vehicle shall drop you at the airport or railway station based on you departure time.
