Arrival in Ayodhya and Later Explore Temples
Arrive in Ayodhya, the sacred city revered as the birthplace of Lord Rama. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and freshen up before beginning your temple exploration.
Places to visit in Ayodhya:
- Ram Janmabhoomi Temple – the divine birthplace of Lord Rama and the heart of Ayodhya’s spiritual heritage.
- Hanuman Garhi – an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, offering panoramic views of the city.
- Kanak Bhavan – known for its beautifully adorned idols of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita.
- Nageshwarnath Temple – believed to have been established by Kush, Lord Rama’s son.
- Saryu River Ghats – take a serene walk along the river and, if desired, perform rituals or enjoy a peaceful boat ride.
- Treta ke Thakur Temple – where Lord Rama is believed to have performed the Ashwamedha Yagna.
In the evening, you may attend the Aarti at the Saryu Ghat, which beautifully illuminates the river with lamps and chants.
Return to your hotel for a peaceful overnight stay in Ayodhya.
Visit the Remaining Ayodhya Sights and Head to Prayagraj
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Ayodhya. Complete any remaining sightseeing in Ayodhya before proceeding towards Prayagraj. The distance between Ayodhya and Prayagraj is approximately 170 km, and it will take around 4–5 hours by road.
Upon reaching Prayagraj, check in to your hotel and later head out to explore the city’s sacred and historical attractions.
Major sightseeing spots in Prayagraj:
- Triveni Sangam – the sacred confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers, ideal for a holy dip or boat ride.
- Anand Bhavan – ancestral home of the Nehru family, now a museum showcasing India’s freedom struggle.
- Hanuman Temple (Lete Hanuman Mandir) – famous for its unique reclining idol of Lord Hanuman near Sangam.
- Allahabad Fort (from outside) – built by Emperor Akbar, offers scenic views of the confluence.
- Bade Hanuman Ji Temple – one of the most visited temples in the city.
- Alopi Devi Temple – a sacred Shakti Peeth revered by devotees.
- Company Garden (Chandrashekhar Azad Park) – a peaceful place for evening walks surrounded by colonial architecture.
After completing sightseeing, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Prayagraj.
Visit the Remaining Prayagraj Sights and Head to Varanasi
Check out from your hotel in Prayagraj after breakfast. Before proceeding to Varanasi, complete any remaining sightseeing in Prayagraj if not covered earlier. After completing your visits, continue your journey to Varanasi, one of the world’s oldest and holiest cities.
Sightseeing in Varanasi:
- Kashi Vishwanath Temple: Oldest Shrine of Shiv Shankar.
- Kashi Vishalakshi temples: Dadicated to Goddess Sati
- Birla Temple: Explore this beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
- Sankat Mochan Temple: Visit this revered temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman.
- Durga Temple: Explore the iconic Durga Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple.
- Tulsi Manas Temple: Pay a visit to this temple that houses the holy text of Ramcharitmanas.
- Mani Mandir: With Over 150 Shivlings in the Temple Premises and other Idols of Gods.
- Kaal Bhairav Temple – One of the oldest temples, dedicated to the fierce form of Lord Shiva.
- Ghats - Dashashwamedh Ghat, Assi Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, Harishchandra Ghat, and Panchganga Ghat
- Ramnagar Fort – Across the Ganges, known for its museum, vintage car collection, and royal history.
Later, continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the Ghat:

Varanasi Sightseeings
Embark on a temple tour visiting the following places Only if missed earlier on previous day.
- Kashi Vishwanath Temple
- Sankat Mochan Temple
- Durga Temple
- Tulsi Manas Temple
- Mani Mandir
In the afternoon, excursion to Sarnath (10 km / 30 min). Where we will witness the followings:
- Dhamek Stupa
- Ashokan Pillar
- Sarnath Museum.

Head to Gaya from Varanasi
Check out from your hotel in Varanasi after completing any remaining sightseeing. Begin your journey towards Gaya, one of the most sacred pilgrimage centers for both Hindus and Buddhists. The distance between Varanasi and Gaya is approximately 260 km, and it takes 6–7 hours by road.
In Gaya, cover the following important pilgrimage sites:
- Vishnupad Temple – the central shrine of Gaya, marking the footprint of Lord Vishnu.
- Akshay Vat Tree – sacred tree where Pind Daan rituals are performed.
- Phalgu River – perform the holy Pind Daan rites here for ancestors.
- Mangla Gauri Temple – one of the Shakti Peethas, highly revered among devotees.
- Ramshila Hill & Pretshila Hill – sites associated with Lord Rama and ritual offerings.

After visiting these sacred sites, return to your hotel in Gaya for an overnight stay, reflecting on a spiritually enriching day.
Fly Back to Hometown after a Spiritual Journey
After completing your Gaya pilgrimage, check out from the hotel. Before departure, ensure any pending temple visits or rituals such as Pind Daan at Vishnupad Temple or offerings at Phalgu River are completed.
The Gaya International Airport is located approximately 10 km from the city center, and it takes around 20–30 minutes to reach by road.
Once you reach the airport, board your flight back to your hometown with blessings from Lord Vishnu and Lord Buddha — concluding your spiritually fulfilling journey.
