    (Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and Jantar Mantar are close to each other and best visited in one stretch.)

Jaipur → Jodhpur

Move Jodhpur via Ajmer and Pushkar (11-12 Hours)

Check out from the hotel after completing any remaining sightseeing in Jaipur. Begin your journey toward Jodhpur, visiting the sacred towns of Ajmer and Pushkar en route.

 

En route, visit the following attractions:

  • Ajmer Sharif Dargah – the revered shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, attracting pilgrims from all over the world
  • Pushkar Lake – a holy lake surrounded by ghats, known for its spiritual significance

Pickup: After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Jodhpur. If you have some sights left to visit, we complete them today and proceed to Jaisalmer.

Travel Time: 4–5 hours by road

Jaisalmer → Jaisalmer

Head to Camp via Tanot Mata Temple and Longewala Border

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Jaisalmer. Before departing, ensure that any remaining sightseeing in Jaisalmer is completed, as no sights will be revisited. Begin your journey towards your Desert Camp.


The distance between Jaisalmer and Tanot Mata Temple is approximately 120 km, taking around 2 to 2.5 hours, and From Tanot to Longewala, the distance is roughly 35 km, taking 45 minutes to 1 hour. Finally, the distance between Longewala and the Jaisalmer Desert Camp region is approximately 45–55 km, taking 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the camp location.

 

Enroute Sightseeing:

  • Tanot Mata Temple – Sacred temple associated with the Indo-Pak War of 1965 and miraculous unexploded bombs.
  • Longewala War Memorial & Border Post – Famous battleground of the 1971 Indo-Pak War, featuring museums, bunkers, and documentary showcases.
  • Kuldhara – The Abandoned Village

 

Afternoon: Check in to the Desert Camp at Sam Sand Dunes.

Jaisalmer To Udaipur

After completing your exploration of Jaisalmer's golden fort and vibrant markets, check out from your hotel and embark on a memorable journey towards the "City of Lakes," Udaipur. While the main objective is a smooth drop-off, this full-day drive offers a chance to witness some of Rajasthan's stunning landscapes and architectural wonders.

The journey from Jaisalmer to Udaipur is approximately 500-520 km and typically takes around 9-10 hours of driving time. 

Sightseeing in Udaipur (After Arrival):

  • Lake Pichola (Evening Stroll/Boat Ride): Enjoy a serene boat ride on the iconic Lake Pichola, especially beautiful during sunset, offering breathtaking views of the illuminated City Palace and Jag Mandir. Alternatively, take a leisurely stroll along the lakefront to soak in the romantic ambiance.
  • Jag Mandir (Exterior View): While a full visit requires more time, you can admire the grandeur of Jag Mandir, an island palace on Lake Pichola, from your boat ride or the lake's banks.
  • City Palace (Exterior View/Dinner): Marvel at the majestic exterior of the City Palace, which often looks spectacular when lit up at night. Consider dining at one of the exquisite lakeside restaurants that offer stunning views of the palace complex.

Please Note: Vehicle will not travel to Jagdish ji Temple, Bagora ki Haveli, Gangaur Ghar & Pichola Lake - Due to Local union restrictions, these places can be explored by local transportation by own expenses
