Arrive in Gangtok and check into your hotel. Rest and relax for the day, or you can take a leisurely stroll around the local market.

Check into hotel at Lachung - Evening free to visit Lachung Monastery - Overnight stay at Hotel at Lachung. Zero Point Excursion would additional, and approximate cost is INR 4,000/- as of Aug 2023. Early morning proceed on a half day excursion to Yumthang Valley (11800 Ft / 3598 Mts /25 Kms / 1 ½ hours one way). Visit to Yumthang Valley is a day excursion from Lachung, which is an attraction for tourist visiting this region. The colorful Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary bloom between April to June. The soaring snow‐capped peaks and herds of wandering yaks make this a Himalayan paradise The valley is also known for its Hot spring. Although the water is quite dirty, many locals from the area visit to get themselves soaked & cured as believed. Yumesamdong – Zero Point excursion can be availed by paying at a supplement cost of INR. Yumesamdong located beyond Yumthang. The journey from Yumthang trudges up through the rugged mountain road. The aroma of sweet fragrance of Ezilia permeates the air. Ezilia is a plant used by the inhabitant to manufacture incense sticks. Drive to Gangtok and Overnight at Gagtok. After breakfast visit the famous Institute of Tibetology and proceed to Dordul, and Chholten Stupa in order to view the Buddhist culture prevalent in this region . Get ready for an exhilarating ropeway ride. Visit Baghthang waterfalls, flower show (Sunday Closed), Ganesh tok, and Hanuman tok as per the availability of the time. By evening reach Shanti view point and enjoy its spectacular scenic beauty.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Gangtok. Start your journey to Darjeeling by road. Enjoy the scenic drive through the hilly landscapes, tea gardens, and charming villages of the region. En route, you can take a short break at the famous Teesta River viewpoint to capture some photographs of the breathtaking river and surrounding hills. Arrive in Darjeeling and check into your hotel. Rest and relax for the day, or you can take a stroll around the Mall Road to experience the colonial charm of Darjeeling. You can even enjoy the water rafting at an additional cost at Teesta River.

Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop – Back to hotel -– After that half day city tour includes Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed) etc.

Leave for Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station which takes nearly six hours for onward journey. Enjoy the vistas and return to your hometown.
