Kochi → Kochi

Meet and Greet at Kochi, and Kochi Sightseeing

On arrival at Kochi Airport, our vehicle will pick you up as per your flight timing and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. After freshening up, proceed to Fort Kochi for sightseeing.

Sights to visit at Fort Kochi:

Fort Kochi Beach – Free entry
Chinese Fishing Nets – Approx. 30 minutes, Free entry
St. Francis Church – Approx. 30 minutes, Free entry
Indo-Portuguese Museum – INR 50 per couple (closed on Mondays)
Mattancherry Palace / Dutch Palace – INR 50 per couple (closed on Fridays)
Jewish Synagogue – Free entry (closed on Friday and Saturday)
Jew Street – Popular street for shopping, Free entry
Sunset Cruise on the Kochi Backwaters – Experience scenic sunset views (cost varies, approx. INR 800–1,500 per person)

It usually takes around 4–5 hours to cover these attractions. Later, visit a Cultural Center to enjoy traditional dance performances of Kerala (Approx. INR 1,000 per couple). After the cultural show, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Fort Kochi Sightseeing

After breakfast at 9 AM, head out to Fort Kochi to explore its iconic sights.

Sights to visit in Fort Kochi:

Fort Kochi Beach – Free entry
Chinese Fishing Nets – Approx. 30 minutes, Free entry
St. Francis Church – Approx. 30 minutes, Free entry
Indo-Portuguese Museum – INR 50 per couple (closed on Mondays)

Kochi → Alleppey

Head to Alleppey and Enjoy Houseboat Stay

After breakfast at 9 AM, complete any sights in Kochi or Fort Kochi that were not covered yesterday.

Afterwards, depart for Alleppey. The distance from Kochi to Alleppey is approximately 60 km, and it takes around 3 hours by road. You should reach Alleppey by 12:00 PM.

Check in at the Houseboat and start your cruise through the scenic backwaters of Alleppey. Relax on the luxurious houseboat while cruising past village sides and paddy fields, witnessing authentic Kerala village life. The houseboat is fully furnished with bedrooms, a private balcony, and a kitchen, and includes a chef, oarsmen, and a cabin assistant.

Important Pointers for Houseboat Stay:

From 5:30 PM to 8:00 AM the next day, the boat will be anchored and idle on the lake due to fishing activities by local villagers (as per government rules).
Deluxe Houseboat: AC operational in bedroom only from 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
Premium Houseboat: AC runs 24/7, but only one AC can operate at a time (either deck or bedroom).
AC takes 30 minutes to 1 hour to cool the room since it runs on a diesel engine.
Enjoy a unique and exclusive experience cruising the rich Alleppey backwaters.

Alleppey → Kumarakom

Experience the houseboat at Quaint Kumarakom

After breakfast we shall move to Kumarakom at 9 AM. It is around 1-hour journey. Visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (INR 500/- for couple) with a guide (Charges not included; I will update you.). At 2PM, we would check in to our premium private houseboat booked only for you. Lunch, Snacks, Dinner would be served on the houseboat. At around 5:00 PM houseboat would take you on a tour where you would enjoy the town area while on board.

Kumarakom → Kovalam

Head to Kovalam Post Experiencing the Boat

In the morning around 8:00 AM, breakfast would be served on board. Around at the same time, the boat would take you to another tour of town and sea perching through various canal in the region. Around 9:00-9:30 AM, houseboat would leave you at the dropping point. Driver shall pick you up, and we would head to Kovalam. It is a long journey which would take around 5/6 hours to reach to Kovalam. Post arrival, check in to the hotel, and rest for the day. You can even enjoy the beach at your own.

Thiruvanthpuram Sightseeing

After breakfast at 9:00 AM, we would start the city tour of Thiruvanthpuram. Important attractions are the followings: Padmanabhaswamy Temple: hindus are allowed in the premise with a special dress code. Kuthiramalika Palace: Entry Fees – INR 40 (Timings: 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM and closed on Monday) Napier Museum (Timings: 10 AM - 5:00 PM and closed on Monday) Sri Chitra Art Gallery INR 400/- entry fees (Timings: 10:00 AM. to 5:00 PM and Monday Holiday) Attukal Bhagavathy Temple – Free and open all day.

Thiruvanthpuram Sightseeing

Kovalam → Kanyakumari

Head to Kanyakumari From Kovalam

After breakfast at 9:00 AM, check out from the hotel. We would travel to Kanyakumari. It would take around 3-4 hours. On arrival check in at the hotel. After lunch at 3:00PM, we would head for Kanyakumari Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Bhagavathi Amman Temple (INR 0 – Max 40 Minutes required), Thiruvalluvar Statue, Kanyakumari Sunset View Point (No Entry Fee, Reach here before 6:00 PM.) Vivekananda Rock Memorial & Thiruvalluvar Statue: It’s located on a small island and hence comes with the backdrop of the Indian ocean which adds to its calm and peaceful vibe. One needs to take a small ferry ride just for Rs.20 to go up to the memorial. Timings: Open on all days from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Entry Fee: INR 100 for the couple Recommended Duration: 1 Hour

Kanyakumari → Kovalam

Kanyakumari Sightseeing and Head to Kovalam

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Kanyakumari. Before leaving, make sure to complete any pending sightseeing in Kanyakumari. Begin your journey towards Kovalam, one of Kerala’s most scenic beach destinations. The distance between Kanyakumari and Kovalam is approximately 90 km, and the journey takes around 2.5 to 3 hours by road.

En route, visit the following attraction:

Poovar Island – A peaceful backwater paradise where the Neyyar River meets the Arabian Sea. Enjoy a beautiful backwater cruise through mangroves, golden sand beaches, and quiet lagoons.

Upon arrival in Kovalam, check in to your hotel and proceed to explore the major sights.

Sightseeing in Kovalam:

Lighthouse Beach – The most famous beach in Kovalam, known for its towering red lighthouse and stunning panoramic views.
Hawa Beach (Eve’s Beach) – A quieter beach ideal for relaxation and short walks along the coastline.

We will cover the Thiruvanthpuram sights including padmanabhaswamy temple If not covered yesterday and time allows. Today is the time to leave the places. We are sure that you have collected millions of sparkling memories of mountains, beaches and hills. It would be possible to board from either of Trivendram, Alleppey, Ernakulam or Kochi.
