After breakfast at 9:00 AM, we would start the city tour of Thiruvanthpuram. Important attractions are the followings: Padmanabhaswamy Temple: hindus are allowed in the premise with a special dress code. Starts @ alleppey After breakfast proceed to Alleppey. 120kms from Varkala Alappuzha is the Venice of the East; It is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Alappuzha beach is a popular picnic spot. The pier, which extends into the sea here, is over 137 years old. Entertainment facilities at the Vijaya Beach Park add to the attraction of the beach. There is also an old lighthouse nearby which is greatly fascinating to visitors. Evening leisure at backwater resort. Overnight stay at Alleppey. Few Important Pointers: A. From 05.30 pm to 08.00 am next day - Boat will Anchored & it will be idle in the lake. (As per GOVT. Rule- Village people need to put nets in the lake for fishing). B. Deluxe Houseboat: AC Operational Timings are 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM In Bedroom Only. C. Premium Houseboat: AC Runs 24*7. However at a given point in time, only One AC is operational (At Either Deck or Bedroom). D. AC runs on a diesel engine, so it takes 30 mins - 1 hour to cool the room.

Travel to Thekkady from Alleppey

After breakfast in the hotel, prepare yourself for the next journey towards Thekkady. Upon your arrival in Thekkady, check in to the hotel and freshen up. Depart for a sightseeing tour of Thekkady. Do a boat ride on the Periyar Lake through the Periyar Tiger Reserve and have a chance to see the big cat Later on, you may go for an Elephant ride, Jeep safari through the jungle (All the activities at your own cost).
