Airport pickup jaipur - udaipur

We will start the journey by heading towards Dargah Shariff and taking the blessings. We will then head to very famous Nasiyan Temple. Later, we will sit and relax by the Pushkar Lake, tour around Man Mahal, visit the only existent Brahma Temple of India and then walk in the lanes of the Pushkar market and shop our hearts out. While Pushkar is a city of pilgrimage with over 500 temples and ghats, it is also famous for its annual Camel Fair, held during October/November. Later we would head to Udaipur the Lake City. Arrive at Udaipur and transfer to the hotel. Udaipur, 'the city of lakes' is admired for its fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, and gardens among many more. Built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh, the city has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Udaipur.

Udaipur Extended Sightseeing

We will cover the remaining sites which are listed on Day 1. Today additionally we will cover Doodhtalai Musical Garden, Sajjangar palace and Wildlife Sanctuary. If you got some time left, you can enjoy ths shopping at Udaipur Market.

Post Breakfast Head to Jaisalmer

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Udaipur. Before departing, ensure that any remaining sightseeing in Udaipur is completed as no sights will be revisited. Begin your journey towards Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Rajasthan. The distance between Udaipur and Jaisalmer is approximately 490 km, and the travel time is around 8 to 9 hours by road.

 

Check In the hotel, and visit the sights, if any, possible. If not covered today, we will cover the sights next day.

Sightseeing in Jaisalmer:

  • Jaisalmer Fort – A UNESCO-listed living fort made of golden sandstone.
  • Patwon Ki Haveli – A group of five richly decorated havelis showcasing fine carvings.
  • Salim Singh Ki Haveli – Known for its unique peacock-shaped arched roof.
  • Nathmal Ki Haveli – Symmetrical haveli built by two artisan brothers.
  • Gadisar Lake – A serene lakeside ideal for a calm walk and photography.
  • Vyas Chhatri – Cenotaphs offering stunning sunset views.
  • Bada Bagh – Royal cenotaphs set against a desert backdrop.
  • Jaisalmer War Museum – Displays war history, tanks, and weapons.
  • Desert Cultural Centre – Showcasing Rajasthani folk culture and puppetry.
  • Local Markets (Sadar Bazaar/Pansari Bazaar) – Ideal for handicrafts, textiles, and leather goods.

 

Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Note: Any sightseeing will be visited only once during the entire travel even if it is mentioned multiple times in the itinerary. In addition, no alternative sights or compensation will be arranged for the same.

Head To Jaisalmer Camp

Morning: After breakfast, complete any remaining local sightseeing in Jaisalmer before heading towards the desert. The Distance is 40 km and it will take 45 mins – 1 hour.

  • Kuldhara – The Abandoned Village

 

Afternoon: Check in to the Desert Camp at Sam Sand Dunes.

Head to Jaipur from Jaisalmer

In the post post breakfast, we would head to Jaipur. This journey would be long for 12 hours. In this journey, you would see the different shades of Rajasthan. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old.
