Evening in Jaisalmer:
- Gadisar Lake: A tranquil artificial lake that once served as the sole water source of Jaisalmer. Relax by the ghats, especially beautiful during sunset. Its historical chattris and temples reflect in the water, creating a picturesque scene.
- Jaisalmer Fort (Exterior view and surrounding markets): While a full exploration of the fort requires more time, an evening stroll around its base allows you to soak in the magnificent golden glow of the fort against the twilight sky. The bustling markets outside the fort come alive in the evening, perfect for a glimpse into local life and perhaps some souvenir shopping.
