Pick up from Jaipur, head to Agra

Our driver will pick you up from Jaipur (Airport / Railway Station / Hotel). Begin your journey towards Agra, the city of the Taj. The distance between Jaipur and Agra is approximately 240 km, and travel time is around 4.5 to 5 hours by road.

 

En Route Sightseeing (Jaipur → Agra):

  • Fatehpur Sikri – UNESCO World Heritage Site known for:
  • Buland Darwaza – Iconic 54-metre victory gate
  • Jama Masjid – Mughal-era mosque
  • Tomb of Salim Chishti – White marble Sufi shrine
  • Panch Mahal – Five-storey palace with airy architecture

 

Upon reaching Agra, check in at your hotel and proceed to visit the key attractions in the city.

Sightseeing in Agra:

  • Taj Mahal – One of the Seven Wonders of the World, symbol of eternal love.
  • Agra Fort – UNESCO World Heritage fort showcasing Mughal power and architecture.
  • Local Marble Handicraft Market – Known for inlay marble work and artisan craftsmanship.

 

Return to your hotel in Agra for an overnight stay.

Visit Taj Mahal and Agra Fort

In the morning after breakfast we would start the trip to Tajmahal. As the single most famous sight in the subcontinent, the Taj is a must-see on most India itineraries. The grandeur of this magnificent monument is equaled only by the tragedy of its backstory – the tomb of a royal bride, created by a mourning emperor. Later in the day, we would visit the second most important monument of Agra i.e. Red Fort. With the Taj Mahal overshadowing it, one can easily forget that Agra has one of the finest Mughal forts in India. Walking through courtyard after courtyard of this palatial red-sandstone and marble fortress, your amazement grows as the scale of what was built here begins to sink in.
