Jodhpur, stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan, was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. also visit Toorji Ka Jhalra and Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant singh II around 1899 and Umaid Public gardens. Return back to hotel and overnight stay.

head to the Jaisalmer (300 Km – 5 or 6 hours). On the way visit Kuldhara Abondoned village. The village is famous for its legends and myths and is said to be haunted. The abandoned village sits solitary amidst the barren stretches of the Thar Desert. on arrival at Jaisalmer check in the hotel . overnight stay

After breakfast Proceed for sightseeing tour of The Golden City - Jaisalmer.

This famous shrine, which gained nation-wide renown during the India-Pakistan war of 1971, is a must-visit site in Jaisalmer. Dedicated to Tanot Mata, believed to be an avatar of Hinglaj Mata, the temple lies in close proximity to the Longewala border between the two countries. Legend has it that during the battle when thousands of bombs were being shelled, no bomb that fell near the temple diffused, thus protecting the locals and soldiers. Tourists can also visit the adjoining museum, which houses artefacts from the time of war. The temple is maintained by the Border Security Force of India.
