Pick up from Airport and Head to Athirapilly

On arrival at Kochi Airport, our driver-cum-representative will pick you up and transfer you directly to Athirapally. Athirapally is approximately 50 km from Kochi Airport, and it would take around 2 hours to reach by road.

 

Sightseeing in and around Athirapally:

  • Athirapally Waterfalls – Often called the “Niagara of Kerala.” Visiting the top of the falls takes about 1 hour, while the bottom requires around 1.5 hours. (Entry fees: INR 40/adult, 10/child, 150/foreigner)
  • Thumboormuzhi Hanging Bridge – Scenic suspension bridge. (Entry fees: INR 40/adult, 10/child)

After sightseeing, you may check in at your hotel nearby and relax. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the natural surroundings of Athirapally.

Head to Munnar from Athirapilly

Post check out and breakfast, we would head to Munnar from Athirapilly. If We were not able to cover the sights yesterday, visit the same today and later head to Munnar. The Journey to Munnar is around 4-5 hours and it is extremely scenic. We would enjoy the lush green forests and valleys on the way to Munnar. On the way, we would enjoy en-route waterfalls. On Arrival at the hotel, check in the hotel. Enjoy rest of the day at the resort.

After breakfast at Munnar hotel, we would start the sights of Munnar.

Munnar → Thekkady

Head to Thekkady and Enjoy the Sights in Thekkady

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Munnar. Complete any remaining sightseeing if not already done. Depart for Thekkady. Munnar is approximately 90 km away from Thekkady, and it would take around 3–4 hours by road.

 

En route, visit the following attractions (optional stops depending on time):

  • Spice plantations – Explore Kerala’s aromatic spice gardens and learn about cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and more.

 

Upon arrival in Thekkady, check in to your hotel and rest briefly. Later, enjoy the following sightseeing and activities in Thekkady:

  • Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary / Periyar National Park – Jungle safari or boat cruise on Periyar Lake to spot elephants, bison, and other wildlife.

Thekkady to Alleppey Hotel Stay

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Thekkady. Before departing, you may cover any remaining sightseeing or activities — such as visiting the Spice Plantation, Elephant Junction, or enjoying a short boating session at Periyar Lake.

 

Then, begin your scenic drive to Alleppey, which is approximately 140 km away and takes around 4.5 hours by road. Enjoy the changing landscape as you leave the hills behind and enter the tranquil backwaters region of Kerala.

 

Once in Alleppey, check in to your hotel and relax for a while. Later in the day, you can explore the following sights:

  • Alleppey Beach – A serene beach perfect for a quiet walk and sunset views (Free Entry)
  • Marari Beach – Known for its pristine shoreline and peaceful surroundings (Free Entry)

Head to Kanyakumari From Kovalam

After breakfast at 9:00 AM, check out from the hotel. We would travel to Kanyakumari. It would take around 3-4 hours. On arrival check in at the hotel. After lunch at 3:00PM, we would head for Kanyakumari Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Bhagavathi Amman Temple (INR 0 – Max 40 Minutes required), Thiruvalluvar Statue, Kanyakumari Sunset View Point (No Entry Fee, Reach here before 6:00 PM.) Vivekananda Rock Memorial & Thiruvalluvar Statue: It’s located on a small island and hence comes with the backdrop of the Indian ocean which adds to its calm and peaceful vibe. One needs to take a small ferry ride just for Rs.20 to go up to the memorial. Timings: Open on all days from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Entry Fee: INR 100 for the couple Recommended Duration: 1 Hour
